The Holiday Inn Express is a great place to relax while in Cherokee, N. C. Excellent location, staff, and facility to help anyone unwind.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by PokerCPA Breakfast still lacking
We like to stay here since its close to the casino but the only drawback is the breakfast is usually lacking. They seem to always be out of something and in no hurry to replace or say a word to us about it!

The staff was friendly and helpful. The maid on our floor was very nice and did a great job. I would return.

We could hear everything anybody said on both sides of
us. Very loud taliking and could not go to sleep.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by MagM Didn't sleep
I thought I left this commentary in my survey? Anyway, this is somewhat of a joke because although I frequent HI properties, and this one was fine, my brother and I checked in, went across the street to gamble and came back for a late check out. The hotel was only used to store our luggage (!), hence the low 'value' score. The staff was fine, the location is great (for the casino) but if I had known we were going to play poker all night we could have saved money!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Rod15 Terrible stay
The room was dirty. Long dark hairs in the sink. Trash between bed and night stand. The mattress springs were broke. Pillows were extremely worn. I have never wrote a review. This is my first so that should speak volumes that our stay was terrible. We waited for breakfast. Stood there with 10 other people telling us they only bring out very little and it's gone. Finally after waiting for anything to come out the eggs were still cold. No biscuits, no meat I had to toast sliced bread to have gravy and that was cold too. Orange juice was watered down. Left without breakfast, we didn't even have showers. We will never stay here again. Holiday Inn should do something to monitor standards. I am extremely disappointed with this Holiday Inn.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by China52 Comfortable beds, but thin walls!!!
I enjoyed the stay, but would not get a smoking room again when I don't smoke. It was the only king room left that was reasonable with the price. I have allergies and the room was filled with smoke scent in sheets, towels, and the bathroom shower curtains. other then that the walls were so thin where you can hear the other occupants in their room, It was too much information for me and my husband to hear-:( I had to put my earplugs in and listen to music so I can block out the noise... Otherwise, the staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel was very clean and nice. We enjoyed the stay even though it was only one night!!! I would stay again longer but won't get a smoking room again...

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by deb 67 loud tv next door walking above us
Tv should be moved to the same walk as next room Next room tv on load until one am mounted or same wall as our bed head board More insulation on 2nd floor may help noise all night long. Ac unit made load noise when coming on or shutting off. Would have shared problems at check out but agent on phone ignored me for five minutes so i had better things to do Rented two rooms other dad same problems less ac unit being load. Last but not least if you are going to send all calls to call center it would helpful if they spoke and understood english
