Great service and staff. Very short walk to the casino (it may be closer to the actual casino than the casino hotel rooms...seriously). Third floor room was HUGE and both beds were extremely comfortable. Windows provided natural light and opened (slightly) but abundant blinds blocked out the sun in the morning if needed. Small kitchen (fridge and microwave) was a great touch in our room. Bathroom was clean. Thanks for an enjoyable visit - I'll be back in a few weeks!

Was not greeted as an IHG member. Was not given customary bottle of water. Asked for a refrigerator to store diabetic medicine and was told there were none available. Almost all guests checked out by second day I was there and I saw empty rooms with refrigerators but was still told there were none available. Was told by clerk that she would have upgraded me but hotel was full. What was that supposed to do, make me happy????? Was not full the second day but I was not offered an upgrade. Have stayed at this property in the past and was pleased but not this time. Most likely this will be my last stay at this Holiday Inn.

We enjoyed our two night stay in this hotel. Room very neat and clean. Would have liked a small refrigerator for keeping drinks cool but otherwise very happy with service, room and all personnel.

Visiting Cherokee for the first time, I expected a better experience. I am used to having a room with kitchen, fridge, and couch, especially when I book a suite. The price we paid for the room was very high based on what we received. The room was plenty big enough, but it was wasted space. I never felt like I could relax during the stay.
The breakfast area was dirty and the food variety was lacking. Almost no fresh fruit, just the standard heavy fare.

Overall a very nice stay but there were some minor issues that detracted from overall impression. Compared to the many other HIE properties I've stayed with, staff here was not very professional. Was not greeted as a Rewards Club member (Platinum) nor offered the points or snacks. Keyed my room cards for one night instead of 2 -- consequently we had housekeeping knocking on our door the next morning asking when we were checking out. When I went downstairs to correct the problem, the 3 very casually-dressed staff members at the desk seemed more interested in getting back to their conversation than helping me--no apology for the inconvenience. Room was comfortable and roomy, but I was surprised there was no micro-fridge. Bedding was as I have grown to expect from a HIE property--excellent! Comfortable bed and bedding keeps me coming back. Breakfast area was well maintained/stocked but rather small with limited numbers of tables.
