Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by pleasant overnite stay We called to see if our room was ready early, and it was, so when we checked in, we were chatting with one of the ladies, and asked if she had any recommendations for a nice place to eat besides the usual fast food. She had two or three to mention, and we drove to a nearby Italian restaurant, and it was a most excellent choice. We appreciated the nod in the right direction, and had a pleasant side trip. Our room was very comfy, and quiet, no loud noises from outside the room, or thru the walls. The only thing that I would recommend to Holiday Inn Express, would be to have higher wattage light bulbs, or maybe a bit better lighting, it seemed a bit dark to me, but I read a lot, and need brighter lighting. Overall, we would and have visited this location before. March 24, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly and Helpful staff I had trouble with my brakes on my truck when we arrived and the the staff was able to assist me in finding someone to repair them. They made sure I was up and running. We appreciated all they did for us and were able to enjoy are stay without any added stress. March 20, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Smells I stayed on the third floor. The hotel should be non-smoking. The room had a stale smell of cigarette smoke. Being a non-smoker, it was not pleasant. The staff made no effort to switch my room to a non-smoking room when I checked in. The hotel was overpriced for the amenities and in comparison with the other nearby properties. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient to Harrah's Casino Hotel within walking distance to Harrah's Casino. We were greeted in a friendly manner at check-in and received directions to the nearest store to purchase supplies. As with many "chain" hotels, towels were a little scratchy. Not sure if any of these places are aware of something called "fabric softener". March 18, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Location and wonderful service. Stayed here over the weekend while visiting the Cherokee Casino which is directly across the street. Rooms are very clean, and service was wonderful. My only concern was the room rate. Most hotels have the same rate for both Friday and Saturday night, this hotel had roughly a 20% increase between nights, and I do feel they are considerably higher than other Holiday Inn Express hotels I have stayed at. All in all it was a good experience, yet my return visit will require reward points for me to stay another weekend. March 12, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Less than I have come to expect / shabby The staff was wonderful. Breakfast was good. Seasonal pool only (a let down given the location). First room was dirty. Immediately moved to an alternative, cleaner but still shabby. The furniture was rickety, the informational material on the area was out of date. The mattress did not sleep very well, too soft. The location with relation to the casino was great. Not horrible but I expect better from Holiday in Express. I will probably stay at a competitor on my next visit to the area. March 5, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great bed and guest services. We enjoyed our stay. The room was very clean and the towels were like new! The TV was a good size for the room. The room had plenty of lighting. The staff was friendly and helpful and well groomed. We would recommend this property for both business and leisure stays. Right across the street from Harrah's Casino. Coffee and juice were available throughout our stay. Internet connection was strong. Room AC unit worked properly and was easy to be comfortable. February 26, 2015
