Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Below Par This hotel shows the signs of wear and is just an OK place to stay. It is close to the casino and is easy access to Cherokee and the Smokey Mountains National Park. The desk clerk working the morning of our check-in was shockingly rude and obviously bothered by our appearance. Not a great way to start a visit. The rest of the staff did their job but little else. The room was actually far below standards for s Holiday Inn. The bed ruffle was stained and the floors dirty. The bathroom was dirty. Asking for a different room did not seem to be worth the effort considering the attitude of the staff and the overall look of the hotel. The bed was uncomfortable and the public rooms all needed attention. This is unfortunate because there are some spectacular choices in chain hotels and boutique properties within walking distance. Holiday Inns are usually a good choice to stay while on business. This particular Holiday Inn was the exception. November 18, 2014

Someone had spilled eggs all over the floor, at 7:30 there wasnt any bacon at all and when i went to tell the staff, they were way to busy talking to each other! November 12, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Close, Comfortable, and Quiet This is a very clean hotel, quiet, comfortable and walking distance to the Casino. We never heard people coming or going am or pm. The room and bathroom are a nice size. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We were on the 2nd floor (all non-smoking) and never smelled smoke from the 3rd floor (smoking). Ventilation was very good. I would and have recommended this hotel to others. We will stay here again when we return. Very impressed. November 2, 2014
