As a return guest it felt good to be recognised by some key staff who made me feel at home and part of the IGH family. on the other hand, some new staff members such as the girl who checked me in could certainly smile a bit more to make guests feel at home.
I am disappointed that the guest washing machine is still not functioning and this remains a concern for me as a third-time return guest. Equally, the fact that the hotel has changed its policy to now only offer complimentary coffee on the first night is puzzling. At minimum guest should be informed that this is the new policy instead of wondering whether or not the housekeeper forgot to put coffee.
All in all I will remain committed to the Holiday Inn brand but the Cuernavaca Holiday Inn Express and Suites is slipping. It is the little things that count to make your stay feel as if you have never left home!
