For a stop along the route to the east coast it was a welcomed stay, that provided a good last minute rate at a fair price, and provided a very comfortable room and bed. I had a very restful sleep that allow me to continue my travels with no problems.

There was a great deal of road construction in the area which made it somewhat difficult to find the hotel. Of course we arrived after dark which did not help us in navigating our way through the traffic construction cones. Once we arrived, we found parking to be adequate and the staff was most welcoming. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Breakfast was the usual Holiday Inn Express experience--quite good. Their coffee was excellent. I would stay here again and would recommend this hotel as a comfortable place for an overnight stop.

Usually I do not write reviews, but I want to write for this
I am sure that by far this one is the worst HIX experiences for me. When I checked in in around 5:30pm, the staff assigned me a room that from my experiences would be noisy. The staff refused to exchange me for another room and want me to believe that "all the other rooms have been checked in". I understand that all the room are booked (but of course not all been checked in), but I explicitly told staff that I have sleeping problems so I do not know why the staff do not want to switch my assigned room to some potential non-showups.
And guess what, it is noisy from 6am in the morning, the wall and door are both paper thin. I know it would be noisy but no way had I expect so much noise! Otherwise I would stay somewhere else even if I have to pay twice.
Finally I cancelled half of my original plan due to the poor sleep, thanks very much. I still trust the standard of HIX, but not this one for sure.
By the way, I am a platinum member, if it matters at all.

It was a pleasure staying here especially after the horrible experience the night before in Amarillo Texas Holiday Inn. I told check about experience and she apologized even thought it was not her fault or her hotels fault. Was greater friendly by all staff. Good choice was good and plentiful. Thank you

When my husband and I went down to breakfast, things were pretty much gone. my husband asked the attendant if there would be more sausage gravy and bisquits and he said it would take 20 minutes to prepare. While we were waiting our daughter , who was staying in another room, came down and was waiting for the bisquits and gravy and was then told there wouldn't be any more.This was between 9 and 9:15am.

The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good and quite a few choices other than fruit... not much fruit selection. We couldn't get either computer to work in the business center and the fitness room consists of 1 treadmill, 1 stationary bike and some other piece of elliptical-ish equipment that was too noisy to use and seemed broken.

I had some trouble getting onto the WIFI. The I.T. department helped out a lot to initially get me connected. After night one I couldn't get a good connection, pretty spotty. It would work for a ten minute period and then go out.
