Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Very disappointed My wife and I just completed a 99-day, 6,000-mile trip in which we stayed in IHG facilities exclusively. We spent two nights in Flagstaff (nights 93 & 94 - April 6-7, 2015). These were the worst accommodations and the most expensive two nights of our trip. It appears the facility has about 150 rooms and it appeared to be full. Check-in was slow. The facility is older and just looks rundown. The two tiny elevators were constantly in use; hence long waiting times - and many times when they arrived, they were full. The carpets in the elevators were badly stained. Breakfast, each morning, was a ZOO! Long lines, no seating available (we had to eat in our room) and continuously running out of prepared food. There were only two individuals attempting to provide service - unsuccessfully. Wi-fi availability was limited to nonexistent. We will not be staying in this facility in the future. April 24, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by In Flagstaff to have a baby :) We got the room for 2 nights. One of which my husband and I would be there with our one year old, and then the next, my mom and sister would be there with him. (We would be in the hospital having a baby on night two) When making the reservation, I asked about getting a crib in the room and was assured we could have one. The day before check in I called just to double check on cribs. (I'm aware that things happen) well, again I was assured it wouldn't be a problem. We checked in around 5pm and told the front desk clerk we were going to run some last minute errands and do dinner with friends, but they could put the crib in the room while we were gone. We arrived back at the hotel at 9:30pm. There was still no crib. So I went to call the front desk, the phone was unplugged, and after plugging it back in, found that it didn't even work. So I walked down to the front desk. The desk clerk apologized for the inconvenience, but said she would call them to take the crib right then. At 10:30, after still no crib and a screaming one year old, my husband went back to the front desk. The clerk said she couldn't find one and that we would have to wait until 11 when the next clerk got there. We finally got a crib at 11:30. (We had to be to the hospital by 5:30am the next morning) The clerk that brought it was very polite and apologetic. She assured me that she would take some money off the bill, and we would see it upon check out. There was never anything taken off our bill. After a long, stressful night, I was actually relieved to think that there would be something done. And very disappointed that there wasn't. When we have to travel to flagstaff again, I will choose a different hotel, and hopefully these issues will get addressed. April 22, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great place to stay Staff, location, breakfast are all OUTSTANDING! Everything was clean, quiet and comfortable. Reasonable rates. Restaurants and gas stations nearby as well as Route 66 and Grand Canyon. April 22, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great staff - Great place to stay My group of six staying in three rooms to visit the Grand Canyon highly recommend this hotel. You can stay closer to the GC and pay more. The drive to the GC is about 1.5 hrs, scenic and enjoyable. You're near Route 66 here as well. The staff at the desk was great and the breakfast was OUTSTANDING! We had to check out early, and though we booked at a non-refundable rate, the manager approved a refund. That's customer service! There are nearby restaurants and gas stations. I do not recommend the nearby "The Northern Pines" restaurant. You'd fare better at Denny's or Cracker Barrel. Everything is clean and quiet and comfortable. April 22, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by A surprise at this Holiday Inn Had I to do it over I would have paid $50.00 more to stay at a competitor's hotel. We had great experiences at other Holiday Inn Express's however Flagstaff let us down. I understand it's an old building. I understand the the roads around it are busy boulevards, and that the area has an industrial feel. I don't think those factors fit with the clean, nice, comfortable image at other Holiday Inn Express's have. Corporate would be better served to have no presents in Flagstaff rather than this one.
