Over all the stay was good but the temperature in the room was warmer than I would have liked it to be.

We had a long day on the road and did not arrive until around midnight. Despite the late hour the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, the beds comfortable, and the A/C nice and cool. Breakfast the next morning was delicious even though it was free. Any time I travel, for business or vacation, I always try to find a Holiday Inn Express. Never disappointed yet.

Enjoyed the breakfast and up-to-date appearance of the hotel. Great HIE quality. However, the fitness center was a little disappointing; small and not as up-to-date as the hotel. The bed in our room was very uncomfortable, but we didn't want to bother or change rooms; we checked-in from travel late in the evening. Would stay here again and recommend the location as a great stop on your way to Myrtle Beach.

Stay at this location very frequently. Always friendly and courteous Staff, very attentive to any needs. Also very often receive room upgrades when available, without even asking. Highly recommend this Hotel and location.

Our stay was more than perfect. It started with an easy to book online site that was a breeze to navigate, then an even easier check in made even better with the friendly and courteous staff. The rooms were clean and fresh. The bathroom was very clean and the in room refrigerator was great for keeping some drinks and yogurt cold. We loved the indoor swimming pool because it was raining the day we got in and the kids still had a blast. The breakfast was hot and fresh with a pretty good selection. Everyone found something they liked and I was surprised to see pancakes were available WOW. This was my second time in two years that I have stayed at this location and I can honestly say they are getting better every year.

The staff was eager to help and accommodate. The food service manager was friendly and helpful offering suggestions and assistance.

MY HUSBAND AND I MADE RESERVATIONS FOR A HANDICAP ROOM AT THIS HOTEL WEEKS IN ADVANCE. AT THE TIME OF ARRIVAL, WITH OUR OBVIOUS DISABILITIES, WE ASKED FOR A LUGGAGE CART. THE PERSON AT THE FRONT DESK AND ANOTHER ATTENDANT PRESENT, TOLD US THERE ARE 4 LUGGAGE CARTS BUT THEY DID NOT KNOW WHERE THEY WHERE. THEY MADE NO ATTEMPT TO FIND US ONE EITHER. MY HUSBAND AND I HAD TO MAKE SEVERAL TRIPS TO OUR VEHICLE TO BRING IN OUR BELONGINGS.
THE NEXT MORNING IN THE BREAKFAST AREA, THERE WAS NO PLACE TO SIT. I ASKED (ANDREA) AT THE FRONT
DESK AS TO WHY THERE WERE NOT ENOUGH TABLES AND CHAIRS. SHE ANSWERED THERE IS NO ROOM TO PUT MORE. I POINTED OUT, PLENTY OF EMPTY SPACE IN WHICH MORE TABLES AND CHAIRS COULD FIT. I ASKED TO SPEAK
WITH A MANAGER, AS MY HUSBAND AND I HAD TO SIT IN THE LOBBY UNTIL A TABLE WAS AVAILABLE. ANDREA ANSWERED "I AM THE ONLY PERSON HERE" THERE IS NO MANAGER TO SPEAK WITH. AT THIS TIME, I ALSO MENTIONED WE HAD ISSUES IN OUR ROOM. OUR TOILET WOULD NOT FLUSH UNLESS IT WAS HELD DOWN FOR A FEW MINUTES. THE REFRIGERATOR WAS NOT PLUGGED IN AND WE HAD TO MOVE FURNITURE TO FIND THE PLUG AND OUTLET TO DO SO. NOT AN EASY FEAT FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES !
AS I DISCUSSED THESE ISSUES WITH ANDREA AT THE FRONT DESK, SHE HAD A SMUG ATTITUDE AND WAS OBVIOUSLY NOT INTERESTED. SHE MADE NO ATTEMPT TO ASK OUR ROOM NUMBER TO CONFIRM OR REPAIR.
MY HUSBAND AND I TRAVEL A GOOD DEAL AND ALWAYS STAY IN HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS HOTELS. WE HAVE BEEN PRIORITY CLUB MEMBERS FOR YEARS. WE WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS HOLIDAY AGAIN !!

CHECK-IN WAS COLD & UNFRIENDLY, PRICE TOO HIGH AS WE HAD JUST LEFT ONE IN PINEHURST, NC WHERE THE PRICE WAS $30 LESS - NO REAL EXPLANATION. ROOM SEEMED OK UNTIL MIDDLE OF NIGHT AND REALIZED THE TOILET WAS LEAKING ALL OVER. PUT TOWELS AROUND AND INFORMED THE DESK. WE HAD TO CHECK OUT WITHOUT BEING ABLE TO BATHE - NO DISCOUNT WAS OFFERED. STILL FEEL WE SHOULD BE CREDITED BACK FOR THE FULL AMOUNT AS IT WAS PRETTY YUCKY HAVING TO TRAVEL WITHOUT BEING ABLE TO TAKE A SHOWER! WOULD NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN!
