Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good overnight stop for tunnel Very convenient for an overnight stay prior to catching an early train to France. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had the evening meal in the hotel and probably best to say it was adequate if somewhat basic. Breakfast was again adequate although somewhat limited ie. sausages, scrambled egg (a bit dried up) and baked beans. Nevertheless for the price it was acceptable. The staff were cheerful and willing. I would use the hotel again for a short stay. June 12, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Room was comfortable, relaxing and cleaned to a high standard We stayed for one night before traveling the following day to Disneyland Paris. It's the first time we had stayed at a holiday inn express and were very impressed with the cleanliness and comfort of the room. The staff were friendly and helpful, offering to arrange an evening meal for us, even when we arrived late evening they offered to order a takeaway for us. Good choice of breakfast options. I would highly recommend this Holiday Inn Express to all my friends and family June 6, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service and Friendly Staff We stayed here as a stopover before heading to France on Eurotunnel, it was easy to find and about 10 min drive away from the tunnel. We were welcomed by friendly and helpful staff, explained where everything was and procedure for breakfast. The room was a small family room but all we needed as we would only be sleeping in it. The Bar/Restaurant area was open plan, with not many seats in the bar if you only wanted to have a drink rather than eat. This would be my only grumble but thats being picky. Breakfast has limited hot food, sausage, scramble egg and beans. (can't remember what the 4th item was but it wasn't bacon) Warm pastries, toast, cereals and yoghurts. All self service. Overall I would recommend staying here. It was also close to a large Tesco's which we popped into to get snacks to take with us on our journey into France. June 2, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pleasant experience Stayed with you 25 May on our way to France and was pleasantly surprised. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Check in was swift and easy and only took a couple of minutes for the whole party to check in unfortunately for the staff a lot of guests arrived at the same time so they were rushed off their feet but coped well. Evening meal was good and breakfast was a lovely choice of continental or my favourite english. All in all we were well looked after by staff who were polite courteous and smiling at all times and seemed to enjoy what they were doing. a big thank you from all of our party. The only downside was the lift was out of order but legs were made before elevators. June 1, 2013

The staff are friendly and professional without being stuffy and the hotel's location is excellent with easy links to the Eurotunnel terminal. A supermarket just up the road is ideal for filling up before the crossing. The breakfast also has a limited hot selection which is an added bonus compared to basic juice and cereal options.
