I must say the staff there are great, friendly, makes you smile and very helpful, when im back in the area i will be staying there again.
PS I was suppose to stay for one day and end up staying for 4 days. great job All staff

This is the third time I've stayed at this hotel in the last 6 months. I will not stay anywhere else when I come to Long Island! The staff (from Aiden the GM, to James the Front Office Manager, the entire housekeeping and front desk crew) is exceptional, the room always clean and very comfortable! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

The staff at the hotel is very friendly and helpful. The bedroom and bathroom have a brand new look and the cleanliness of the room is outstanding. The price was reasonable for the area.

Our kids hockey team stayed a weekend. The beds were fine. The elevator was the slowest I have seen. Cant really complain about a free breakfast but after seeing it I know why it was free. They tried to close the lobby room at 10 and kick us out but the world series was on and we wouldn't leave. Some hotels are kid and group friendly this place was not. I feel they should go over the ground rules when you are booking 15 rooms and you tell them its a hockey team.

I recently stayed at this location with my boyfriend just for a place to crash overnight. The hotel was very clean and the staff was nice. The phone next to our bed was broken and the lock on the door that lead to the room next door was also broken (it was no matter to us, but we did notify the staff). The bed was extremely comfortable. Only complaint: we asked for late checkout and the woman at the front desk seemed to have forgot and housekeeping was very unpleasant about us being in the room and then the front desk called to let us know we were past the check out time... which we weren't. Other than that, great stay! We weren't up in time for breakfast, but other reviews say it's pretty good ;)

I never write bad reviews but felt I had to with this, to prevent this from happening to other patrons. The hotel was very clean and had easy access off the expressway, but we could not get a good night's sleep because we were awaken by doors slamming and a large party in the front lobby of the hotel (our room was on the first floor-Room 105), when we called and complained to the Front Desk Manager, he stated that he would take care of it, but he let the noise continue loudly from 1 to 3:30am in the lobby right in front of the desk where he was stationed! In the morning when we checked out, we complained to the Front Desk Manager on the day shift and she stated that there was a note attached to our bill that there was noise from a wedding party that came in during the night and only offered us 1/2 off the night's stay of our two night stay. My wife and I were exhausted the whole day, our trip visiting family was ruined because we were so tired. We ended up going home to sleep for 12 hours because we were so exhausted from being awake for most of the night. We previously stayed at a competitor's hotel nearby and had an excellent stay, we will not be going back to this Holiday Inn Express because of this incident. The next time we visit Long Island, we will be staying at their competitor's hotel. The Front Desk Manager on the Night Shift at the Holiday Inn Express should have taken action to control the loud drunken wedding party that disturbed other patrons staying at the hotel, he definitely needs re-training especially at a hotel that has clearly written policy stating that quiet time is from 10pm on and this hotel prides themselves for a good night's rest on their website, go figure???

Our room was immaculate. Check in and check out were simple. The breakfast was delicious and the choices were abundant. What impressed me the most was the customer service. When we checked in the woman at the front desk asked what brought us to the hotel. We shared that we were in town for a funeral and she offered her condolences. Later that night, when we went to our room, there was a sympathy card hand written from the staff. I have never had such a personal experience from a hotel before. Thank you.
