Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Decent location, poor condition. Room had dirty carpet, wanted to just wear my socks all the time. Main lobby was clean for the most part, but did have some areas of mess and abuse. Front desk staff in the AM was busy on the phone and did not address needs of client for about five minuets. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome bed, clean, GREAT for dogs! We recently traveled cross country along with our dogs, from AZ to Boston, staying in several hotels along the way. Our night at this Holiday Inn Express was by far the best, and the price wasn't even significantly more. We landed there at 11:30pm, completely exhausted. The young woman at the front desk was so kind and helpful. She allowed us to put our ice chest packs in her freezer over night, and even brought them to us in the morning. The room was wonderfully clean and, after staying at several hotels where we questioned whether it was safe to sleep in the bed, it was such a relief to stay in one where there was no question about cleanliness. The woman at the front desk put us in a room on the first floor, right by the back door where the dog walking area was...so convenient for taking the dogs out to do their business. We noticed that the room was SO quiet... if there were other dogs there, we couldn't hear them. After not sleeping well for the past few nights, it was such a relief to sleep in... we were not disturbed by the sound of other guests nor cleaning staff. And the bed was extraordinarily comfortable. The only negative I would give this place is that the eggs in the hot breakfast weren't very good. But the dining room was filled with hotel guests that seemed content. July 14, 2014

The rooms are large and clean, the breakfast hot and plentiful, and the staff are friendly (thanks especially to Scott). There are several local restaurants within walking distance when the weather is pleasant or who will deliver when you don't feel like going back out in the evening. Thanks for another great stay! Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed in stay, overall We usually always have good luck at a HI Express. Not so much with this one. Check-in was fine. Our room was fine except for the three drawers under the TV would not open and shut properly. We could live with that. Also the breakfast was not out at the specified time. It took the breakfast person around 45 minutes to get everything out and accessible. One morning, they ran out of alot of the items. Our bad experience was mainly with the unruly patrons who overtook the breakfast area at night, and the kids running through the halls at all hours. Our small group couldn't even visit with each other because of this other group of "adults". They were loud, obnoxious, using foul language, etc. The police came twice while we were there, and the front desk staff also asked them to quiet down several times. We all finally had to go to bed, we had had too much of them. I realize that the staff is walking a fine line with the guests, but enough is enough. One warning, possibly two, and if they don't obey the rules, they should be evicted from the hotel. That experience really ruined our stay there, enough so that we may never stay at that particular hotel again. July 3, 2014
