The s urroundings are well lite.The staff were polite and helpful.The rooms were very comfortable.The place was very comfortable all around.It was not noisey,I slept well.This was my second stay at Holiday Inn Express.I will be staying again.I told all my co-workers to stay also. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best in town Clean and comfortable. The only issue was the broken microwave (fixed on the day I was leaving) and the noise level outside the room. This motel would benefit from a noise wall/ trees along the highway side. Located on a dip in the highway the trucks constantly change gears there, causing great nerve wreaking noise increase. However, this is still a much cleaner more comfortable motel than others in the area. Try to get a room on the "quiet side". October 20, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not what I expect from a HIE First impression through the lobby and check in was what I expected. I just had a problem when I got to the room. I selected a non smoking room, but it obviously was abused and whatever they used to try to cover up the smell just didn't help. Also found cigarette burn on the sheets. Had an issue with the remote and when I called down to the front desk the person I was asked if I was pointing it at the TV.........really. Believe it was just the batteries, but usually the staff would run a new controller up to you which didn't happen. Got in late from a long day of work and traveling and had to run back down stairs for the Controller. Not a big deal, but just irked me a little. Staff is nice just lacks customer service. In my travels- the lobby and outside of a hotel can look good but the hotel room itself is not clean. Not in this case- the room was spotless, smelled fresh and very eye appealing when I walked in. AC unit was not turn off like in some hotels- room temperature was very comfortable. Breakfast was great- items very fresh October 14, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Staff Can not say enough good things about our stay. Very quiet and comfortable. We requested to be in a room away from the interstate when we preregistered and had no problems. The breakfast staff was excellent with one morning (Saturday) staying open until 10:30 but management said it had to be 9:30 every day. I wish they would allow a 10:30 close time on the weekends and 9:30 through the week. Weekend are for sleeping a little later. Anyway! Great place to stay. October 12, 2014
