Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great place to stay I have been on the road working for 8 years, and the staff at this hotel is the best I have experienced. They really make the stay great. The rooms are good and clean, and the staff will get you whatever you need.The new renovations have made the hotel look better. I highly recommend this location. March 30, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Laurel This hotel is clean and comfortable, no real issues. However when me and my coworkers checked in we mentioned that in the past they had given us a slightly better rate. We were told that since we booked on line it was impossible for them to change the rate. Since we are not regulars at this property I simply said " okay that is fine." I also under stand that they are in business to make money and cutting rates affects profits. I did not mention to them that in nearly all of the other IHG properties that I stay at on a regular basis I book on line, and they change the rate when I check in. Around a year ago I stayed in this hotel , a few days later I called regarding a charge to my credit card that I didn't understand. The girl was rude to me, I had decided not to go back after that but changed my mind. I think I will just stay in Hattiesburg from now on when I am in this area. March 29, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Probably the best place in Laurel The Holiday Inn Express in Laurel is probably the best hotel in town. I have traveled the state for many years and Laurel has always been one of the places where a good hotel is hard to find. It's location halfway between Meridian and Hattiesburg is probably the reason. But if you find yourself in Laurel, then this hotel is near the top. March 9, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Lack of Amenities / Not Like Most H I Expresses Normally there are things like shampoo etc. Not here. When you travel a bunch, you depend on the samm things. The facility seems to be getting to the point where a full scale renovation is due. Halls neded carpet or at least carpet cleaning. I think next time, and there will be several, the hotel down the street will be my choice. Unless............... February 13, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Old and Dirty Hotel We were very disappointed in our stay at this hotel. The bathroom was dirty, the sheets were stained, the bath water started out running brown, and it smelled like body odor in the halls. It appeared to be an old hotel from the 70's that Holiday Inn may have purchased and tried to renovate on a budget. It really was pretty bad. We would not stay at this hotel again. Questionable about staying at a Holiday Inn now. February 10, 2015
