This hotel is under construction. Even though the staff are very nice and friendly and try to accommodate, I would not recommend staying here until the renovation is over. Should be great then.

Even though they were revamping the hotel it was still clean and the staff was very helpful. We have stayed here several times and enjoyed it every time. We will be back soon.

I was tired of driving and pulled into the next IHG hotel I came across and happened to stop at this disaster of a property.
I walked into a deconstructed lobby. They called it renovation, but I think of it as 'how dare you charge money for this experience'.
I asked for a room anyway, presented my credit card and IHG Platinum Ambassador card. The clerk couldn't pull up my profile on the computer and and asked me to make a reservation online. When I asked for the wifi login information he said he could not give it to me because I had not yet checked in and no room number to attach to a login. So with just 2 bars of edge cellular service I eventually made the reservation. He pulled it up , but then couldn't get the system to accept my AAA rate. He then said he'd been there just 2 days and would have to call his manager on the phone. They could not work it out on the phone.
Eventually they agreed that they'd give me a room and the night auditor would figure it out and contact me when he had.
My room was an outdated icebox. The bathroom was disgusting. I turned the heat to max and it continued to blow high volumes of cool air. While the air was in fact warmer than the air already in the room, the room was not warm even in the morning when I checked out. I spent half the night in a hot shower and tub to gain warmth.
I must add that I had asked to upgrade to the king suite, but it seemed the manager that the clerk was talking to on the phone on check in was dead set against me getting it even though it was clearly available. Still have no idea what that's about.
The general manager did offer to comp my room, but that will not make up for the night I had, so I declined the comp and let her know that she would hear about my night again in my review.

We stayed at the Marshfield Holiday Inn on our second night after staying at another Holiday Inn Express. We were very disappointed in the difference. The rate was $20.00 more and the hotel was under construction. The room lacked a fridge and some of the lights did not work. The breakfast was not available so they gave a coupon to go to a hotel across at a plaza. After we complained about the state of the hotel did they offer a small discount, We still paid more than the night before.

Hotel was being remodeled during our stay. No elevator so we had to haul luggage up stairs. No on site breakfast. Web site did not indicate that remodel was in process. Beds were good , clean rooms

While the room itself was up to Holiday Inn standards, all other areas were under construction/remodeling.
I would seem that HIE would have reduced the cost of the room by 10% in addition to any other eligible discounts.
The staff was nice and efficient.

Even thought I just walked in off the street as a weary driver, the staff accommodated my needs immediately and cheerfully. I rested well and was on my way in the morning.
