I know you have a boom on in Minot but can I wish for better room rates. Plus I wish all the hotel would not used those card for door looks do you how many time you have to go to the front desk to run it throw. This at all hotels which used cards. My room was great this time, I will be back.p

The hotel was clean staff was polite, but our door did not lock you could walk in without a key. The temperature was hard to control in the room either hot or cold no in between.

Enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn Express, Minot South. The facility was clean and the service was excellent. I will be returning to this location without question.

Met with a nice greeting.
My only improvement is that both days breakfast was put up early.
Didn't effect my experience but other customers came down to half
of a breakfast. My assumption was that breakfast staff cutting corners to complete other tasks.
Besides breakfast another great stay at this location!

Holiday Express and Hotels in the Minot area in general seem to all be falling into the "oil money" trap. Overinflated prices due to demand and a complete lack of updated facilities. This Holiday Express is good but not great like it was two years ago. Lack of building maintenance is starting to show around the edges. Exterior blemishes, broken concrete, and poor or inadequate parking spaces make it sometimes difficult to park. Interior hallways, elevator, and public areas need some TLC to make them shine again.

When I asked for an upgrade I was told they were sold out. I then went on line to check for rooms and they did have rooms available and at a better price than I was paying. Called customer relations and they then called the manager and advised me that the manager was not willing to do anything for us.

The staff seemed to not care about our needs. Had a take it or leave it attitude. For what we paid a night you would think they would put out a little effort.
Was told they could not look up my Priority Club info, which was a first.
The bathroom exhaust fan in our room did not work. The first floor bathroom was out of toilet paper and when I informed the staff I was told they would try and get it replaced.
