Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Cannot believe that this is an IHG property We stayed here in July 2014, our second night of a 3 week driving trip. We are IHG Platinum members and this was a reward night. The room that we were given had horribly dirty carpets and the air conditioning sounded like a jet engine. The room was so dirty that we requested another room. The replacement room was cleaner, however the air conditioning was still quite loud. Rather than change rooms again, we just turned it off and sweat all night. In the morning, there were no luggage carts to be found in the entire hotel, so we had to carry our many suitcases and a cooler down to the car ourselves. The front desk staff was very unhelpful with the situation. At that point, I requested the points that we paid for our room to be credited to our IHG account. August 11, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice hotel and very friendly staff. Enjoyable stay. The hotel staff are very friendly. Cookies were offered at the front desk in the afternoon at check-in. Hotel was very clean and our room was clean and comfortable. It was a hot day and the air conditioner was running and the room was fresh and cool. The swimming pool is very nice and kept at a nice temperature. You can just walk in. The hot tub is a little hotter than we like. That would be the only criticism of the hotel. The room and the staff are excellent. August 9, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Would have been great with housekeeping I liked this hotel from the get-go. Until the second day, when we didn't have housekeeping services. And then the third day when we didn't have housekeeping services. This went from a five star review to a will not recommend. It doesn't matter to me if they were full to capacity, I expect the service I pay for. We were on vacation and chose not to leave our room until noon each day because we were there for the state fair concerts. This should not mean our room does not get cleaned at all. We were gone from 12pm-10pm each day. When i called the front desk to mention this after the second time the room was not cleaned, they didn't care. They "took" my request for clean towels and didn't do it anyway. I had to go down when i returned at 12:30am to get my own clean towels. On top of all this the day we were checking out, they had the nerve to send the housekeeper to knock on our door at 10am to ask when we were leaving so they could clean the room for the next people checking in. On the other hand the check-in our first day was fast and so was checkout. The Breakfast was AWESOME. The staff there were attentive to what was available. August 5, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Stay I have stayed at Holiday Inn Express Chain alot in Canada but this was my first stay in the US. When we checked in our, rep was on her phone. I was not identified as IHG Member. When we later went to ask the staff member a question about pool hours she was texting again and didn't acknowledge us. The cleaning staff forgot to clean our room and give us fresh towels on Friday even though we were out of our room from 10:30am to 6:00pm. Over all the hotel property is really awesome. It is very clean and the rooms are very nice. The pool area is pretty small but its still alot of fun for just relaxing. The internet at this hotel was above average for what a hotel internet should be. I would personally not stay here again with my bad experience with the staff. July 31, 2014
