Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by It's cold in Minot Hotel was nice and clean. Front desk staff was less than warm. Bed was too soft but my room was nice and spacious. The parking lot was icy or full of snow depending on the day of the week. I reported my phone not working to the front desk. She called me on my cell a couple hours later telling me that there was nothing wrong with the phone. I didn't tell her that I was there installing a new phone system at the Air Force Base and that I new what a dead phone was. I got back to the room and found a note from the maintenance guy telling me the phone was replaced. Just kind of ruffled my feathers that she would be condescending towards me like that when she wasn't even aware of what took place....Hmmm. I would recommend the place though. Bring your parka. We come and stay in Minot as a get away from staying in a Even while my husband works in the oil field, important features we need: comfortable bed, clean room and a shower. Our room would of been a 5 star, except for the shower not having any hot water or water pressure. I called down to front desk, she didn't put me on hold, just laid the phone down while she asked the other staff what she should tell me, the house keeping basically said I was crazy because they had plenty of water, pretty poor customer service. The front desk finally told me to wait 20 minutes and take another one. We were disappointed. The beds were very comfortable and our room was clean. February 18, 2015
