Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not up to Holiday Inn standards. I don't understand why everytime I stay there during the winter I have to turn the air conditioner on even when its 10 below outside. This is the only Holiday Inn I know of that was built in the last 20 years that doesn't have a desk. Only a little round table. I thought HI's cater to business people. If you decide to put in real desks don't use those chairs that are so low that the desk is at shoulder level when you sit down. The lighting in this hotel is terrible. At least put a nightlight in the bathroom. Also, the bathroom light switch is on the outside of the bathroom??? I wish the would tell me ahead of time that I am getting handicap room. Why is there no counter space in the H.C. bathrooms??? TV! This room has the smallest TV of any major hotel. And the remote/TV doesn't allow you to change the video format to match the program. You have to watch most of the show in a distorted manner. The staff and dining room are good but the rooms are not up to Holiday Inn standards. February 16, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quiet Pleasant Stay We were only at this hotel for one night, but it was a memorable experience for all 3 in our party. Staff members were pleasant and helpful. The rooms (King Suites) were well appointed and clean. Beds were comfortable and the heating cooling unit made it possible for us to easily find the right temperatures for visiting and sleeping. The included breakfast offered hot and cold selections that allowed each of us to find the meal choices we preferred. The breakfast room was s spacious and bright room that was a great place to start and plan our day in Minot. Easily accessed from the south. December 31, 2013

Plus I wish all the hotel would not used those card for door looks do you how many time you have to go to the front desk to run it throw. This at all hotels which used cards. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice staff clean property Met with a nice greeting. Room spotless. My only improvement is that both days breakfast was put up early. Didn't effect my experience but other customers came down to half of a breakfast. My assumption was that breakfast staff cutting corners to complete other tasks. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Advertising as the best requires updates. Holiday Express and Hotels in the Minot area in general seem to all be falling into the "oil money" trap. Overinflated prices due to demand and a complete lack of updated facilities. This Holiday Express is good but not great like it was two years ago. Lack of building maintenance is starting to show around the edges. Exterior blemishes, broken concrete, and poor or inadequate parking spaces make it sometimes difficult to park. Interior hallways, elevator, and public areas need some TLC to make them shine again. September 23, 2013
