Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great vacation Last week ,my wife & I spent 3 nights/4days at the HI Express in Pensacola Beach, Fla. It was conveniently located to all the best attractions of the area. We had a beautiful /comfortable room with a great balcony view of the sugar white sandy beach and blue/green gulf. The weather was perfect for our entire stay. The breakfast buffet was tasty and had plenty of choices.The back patio and pool were inviting and refreshing and conveniently close to the beach via a short boardwalk. The hotel was full but there was plenty elbow room on the beach. The best feature of this hotel was the very young but professional /personable and energetic staff . Tyler, Nicole ,Lauren, & Queen( to name a few ) were outstanding. Tyler ,especially was a tremendous source of information and advice regarding maps & directions to the best restaurants ,shops etc .This young staff was added value and made our stay pleasurable & memorable .I can't wait to return. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Dissappointed This made the 4th or 5th time I have stayed there. I had two rooms and in one-there was no fridge, or microwave, and the TV did not work. In the other, there was no microwave. Nobody goes there to eat in the room , however, I do like to keep stuff cold, and maybe heat up some of the left overs for lunch from the absolutely wonderful restaurants on the beach. I called twice and my daughter twice to get someone to get the tv fixed for late nite viewing--never got looked at. If it did they did nothing to communicate the problem or attempt to bring another one in. On a positive note, the room overall are nice, comfy, and the view is tremendous. June 30, 2014
