-liked the lobby and open space concept in central areas.
-small but nice pool area.
-breakfast was barely average but many people liked the take away coffee cups (not a coffee drinker myself but seems to be a nice feature)
-room was nice with enough space and comfy bed but no amenities ready to go in bathroom (available only on request).
i was by myself but two chairs per room/balcony would be a plus (instead of just one).
-liked the spacious closet and easy to use in room safe.
-location was great. easy walk to beach, shops, restaurants.
-overall nice property but not much character. good value if you arent looking for luxury but clean and modern standard.

I stayed two nights in Holiday Inn Express Patong Beach Central with my family and friends. It's a good time.
The only uncomfortable thing is the high price of the van parked near the gate, which was printed "Holiday Inn" logo. It costs 300THB to Jungcelon; the distance is only 2KM.

Dominic you are a star and one can see your experinece makes a difference in this new property. Thank you for attending to my special requests to commemorate our aniversary.
The staff was superb. Nittaya our char, Donnaya and Tanwet at reception needs special mention.
The reception area is unique and striking for the first time visitor. Well designed and furnished.
Siutated in the very busy Patong area the hotel is well positioned for the avid sun seekerr, nocturnal night life animal or just to relax and feel the heartbeat of Phuket.

I stayed here for 6 days and was very impressed by this new hotel. I have previously stayed at the nearby Holiday Inn and i much prefer this hotel. It is close to everything including the beach and entertainment areas but is tucked away in a quiet street. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly and the facilitiies offered superb - especially for the price. Having no restaurant and bar was not an issue as there where lots on your door step and typically you would go out anyway. breakfast was fine with plenty of choice and places to sit. The staff at reception where great as well as the security guard who saluted you everytime you left the property. The rooms where spotless and modern with good facilities and wifi connection - the cleaner was very thorough and spent ages making the room spotless. Before I arrived i was a bit dubious as to why it was so inexpensive given its beach location and I expected a motel style of accomodation - how wrong i was. they even gave you towels for the beach..!!!
I will be back again and have recommended this hotel to all my friends.
