Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not what I was expecting First off the staff was friendly and helpful. What disappointed me; 1) I asked for a room close to the elevator and a feather pillow when I made my reservation. Both requests were not available. 2) The breakfast bar had very little which I would call heathy. For example, plain eggs should be available, not smothered in cheese . Fresh berries, melon etc would be a nice start. 3). The exercise room was probably the worst I have been in. There is no stationary bike nor hand weights, Every gym has a stationary bike at a minimum! 4) There was no guide on the tv so it was very hard and a tedious process finding channels. Also, one evening during my stay , tv was not available due to cable problems. For the price and given I stayed 7 nights the hotel should have been nicer. Next year, I will stay at one of the bigger hotels in reno for a cheaper price and with more amenities. May 13, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good motel, BAD location. The Holiday Inn Express/ Reno is typical Holiday Inn Express... very well maintained, neat, clean, good personnel and a decent breakfast. That's good! But the location is poor. No restaurant nearby. We had to drive 3 - 4 miles in city traffic to get to a restaurant. After a long day of driving I don't want to drive to a restaurant. It seems to me Holiday Inn Express is usually located near a restaurant within walking distance? For what it's worth. Walt May 9, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This is the best place to stay in Reno This hotel may not be huge or have all the bells and whistles of a casino, but it's the cleanest, most up to date, quiet, and best bang for your buck in Reno. The staff is always quick and polite, the food is always fresh and fully stocked for breakfast, and the hotel really has a good vibe to it. The rooms all have flat screens, very comfortable beds, and like I said before CLEAN. There is an indoor pool and a gym. I stay at a lot of hotels for business and this is on top of my list for a relaxing, refreshing, and re-energizing stay. The hotel is only 5 min. from the airport, dining, casinos, and golf. I travel a lot and have started using Holiday Inn Express more lately because they offer seemingly consistent quality, cleanliness, and service. This one was no exception, though the road noise from the freeway was a bit much and I'm a light sleeper. Otherwise, this hotel is a great option. March 22, 2013
