Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service and a Comfy Place to Sleep We were greeted by an incredible lady (Pamela) she treated us like we owned the hotel. She offered us options for being Platinum Plus customers. The hotel is very very clean, bright and inviting. Pamela also offered some late night pancakes (new offering from the hotel) and was happy to do anything to make us happy. The hotel is quiet the rooms are dark and cool. We enjoyed a full selection of TV channels. I would not hesitate to stay at this location again. August 21, 2015

She advised only suites were available but discounted the rate. We were unsure of next night's plans so we checked out and upon return that evening found no rooms available. We were referred to another hotel and that worked out fine too August 21, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best service and very clean and comfortable! One of our favorite places to stay because it is quiet and clean compared to some of the Casino/Hotels. I have stayed at other places in Reno and Sparks NV and always seem to find hairs, stains, and other stuff around the rooms but not here. Also, we appreciate the fact that it is non-smoking. The late night front desk worker, I think her name was Pamela, was so sweet and very helpful! One of the best customer service experiences ever with a hotel stay. Only disappointments that were minor was no extra sink outside of the bathroom that we usually get. I was told everyone room had one. And I think they raised the pet fee price. We have a tiny 7 pound chihuahua that does not bark and stays in her crate the entire time so I wish the fee wasn't so much, really drove up the price of our bill. Please go back to a reasonable pet fee especially if the dog is tiny! Also, two requests are that you put mini one cup brew Keurig coffee makers in the room so we don't have to wash out the nasty coffee pot every time. It is nice to just throw in a pod, and let it go. It seems a lot more sanitary too! AND LATER BREAKFAST TIME! Not everyone gets up that early because they are out late gambling :) Thanks Holiday Inn for being great! August 15, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Holiday Inn Express I stayed at this property for three nights. I've found the mattresses at HIE to be pretty hit or miss, but the beds here were very comfortable. The breakfast is what you'd expect, which I like. The staff was nice. My only complaint is the door closing mechanisms really slam the door, loudly. I was coming from Eastern timezone, so I may have went to bed a little earlier than other guests, but anytime someone left their room near me, I would here a loud slam sound. Pool was decent. Had pancakes at night which was a plus. August 13, 2015
