Ok just the facts...NICE new property, housekeeping staff excellent job!...lack luster evening front desk staff, not as caring as I would have expected when having a problem with the TV...the day shift front desk personnel good! NO in room movies? (bummer) a good revenue generator IMHO especially given the limited regular TV programming ...the freeway facing rooms either need triple pane glass OR no windows!...it's like a NASCAR race...although we didn't partake in the breakfasts, the items looked good...the Jacuzzi tube is SMALL in the suite...not enough room for two people comfortably. Maybe foregoing the extra wasted space of TWO steps INTO the tub for a larger tub?...BUT what do I know?...AND LAST THE BED...ok it was HARD!...I mean my kidneys hurt in the AM HARD... was even to firm for my WIFE!...and the mattress on one side was like slumping towards the edge? Like I would find myself siding towards the edge, slumping ...I mean for a KING size bed in a Jacuzzi "suite", the bed either needs a fluffy pillow top OR better yet, a NICER bed... THOSE were the facts...given the fact it's not exactly the Waldorf Astoria in amenities OR PRICE...all in all a nice little get away in Reno...just some fine tweaking here and there and I am sure 5 stars are in their future...WE WILL STAY THERE AGAIN btw (ROOM NOT FACING HWY 395!)...

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Shooter530 Nice new property
It's a bit hard to get to this location, but once you do, you will find that it's a new, well cared for hotel. The front desk staff seemed a bit cranky when I arrived, but it could have been worse. The room itself, on the first floor had very high ceilings and was quite large. Although I do prefer to be on the top floor, this room was nice and quiet. I would stay here again

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by California transplant What a delightful surprise!
Clean, fresh, comfortable! And the staff was attentive, helpful and professional. We were impressed and convinced we that this inn was the best place we stayed during our nine-day, eight-night drive from New England to California. From check-in to check-out we found the front desk remarkably reliable - we asked for directions and received precise and easy directions (we got there effortlessly); at breakfast we seemed on the verge of running out of hot water for tea and - Voila! - the staff person seemingly read our minds and swooped in with fresh, piping hot water. The room was clean, well-appointed, and quite comfortable. Each of the queen beds was the best of all the beds we'd enjoyed and endured during our entire cross-country trip. One does not expect a Holiday Inn to be run with the professionalism of a five-star hotel in Manhattan. Maybe those New York hotels could lean a lesson or two from the Reno Holiday Inn. And to their staff, especially Cesar, Susana and Pamela - our thanks!

internet speed poor, breakfast quality low, bed was hard; expected better for the price, room was clean and heater worked. Highway traffic noise annoying

Great Location, clean property. My only knock would be their TV operation & selections. It has a lot of blank channels; is set up as an IP type operation but not all active. Difficult to navigate. Channel guide bedside doesn't match what you see on the screen. Would like to see more sports channels such as NBC Sports Network, NHL, MLB, NFL networks (HD!) The third visit to this property with this same issue.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Skyblue71 Our "Home" while we are Home. Always Excellent!
My family & I have stayed in this location 5 times. It is always clean. The staff is always pleasant & helpful. The breakfast fare is is just perfect for my family to get going in the morning. My girls love the fresh fruit & yogurt offerings. Our longest stay at this location was 18 days while we were back in Reno on home leave since we currently live overseas in Saudi Arabia due to employment. We feel safe & parking is always sufficient. We have never been disappointed here.
We will be coming back to the states for good very soon & will definitely be booking a stay at this location for the interim time before we move into our new home. My girls are excited about seeing which room we get this time & the warm cookies in the lobby. Ha ha. Little pleasures.
I would completely recommend this location & we have told our family & friends how much we enjoy our stays here.

Couldn't travel due to bad weather. Holiday Inn was nice enough to drive us around to restaurants and shops for free! Staff was kind and very attenative to our needs while stranded. Hope to never experince this again but if ever in town I will look for this hotel.
