Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great overnighter On a driving tour, we took advantage of the IHG promotional PointBreak here. Good check in experience. Excellent value. Clean,comfortable room. Larger than average bathroom. Quiet spot. Limited Restaurant options nearby. Wifi poor in our room. Good breakfast. Didn't use the leisure facilities,but they looked fine. Would certainly revisit. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by HIE Vernal While, I can not put my finger on it, there is a problem at this hotel. The staff seem unhappy. The hotel is overpriced for what is offered, typical HIE, but much more expensive. As a Priority Club member, I object to the extra charge that was added to my bill. Obviously, I am not valued as a customer. Also, difficult to get in and out of parking lot. September 12, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This was a great hotel. My family wanted to stay in Vernal to make a trip out of Dinosaur Land. We opted for Holiday Inn Express because of the breakfast and the indoor pool. We were not disappointed. The pool was so nice and they let the kids in the hot tub. The breakfast was yummy and had so many choices and the kids had so much fun with the pancake maker. The cinnamon rolls are awesome as well. The staff was great and the rooms were clean. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. September 2, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Dirty sheets I heard every truck that passed the hotel traveling on hyw 40. Very poor quality of windows. The room was clean and neat upon check in. Walls, paper thin, I heard from other guest on both sides of my room. Wifi signal low at best. So much for free wifi! Day two I turn back my sheets after a very long work day to find dirty sheets. That morning before leaving the room I made sure the sheets exposed that I had gotten sick in the night on the sheets. The bed was made up with the same dirty sheets. I called the front desk. Not only was I not offered clean sheets or another room. I was told sheets are washed every third day of your stay. Just when did I agree to that policy at the same daily rate. The guy said he'd give me 1000 ihg points. How out of your way was that offer? I declined his offer made do with the mattress pad and blanket until I could get out of this place. Upon check out I was asked how my stay was. Really? I was going to go in silence right to my Facebook page. However I said, now you asked, I'm refusing to pay for last nights stay and why. I was credited one night stay. Then some blah blah 5000 points. The fact is I left mad, very mad and tired. My idea of bedding is not a mattress pad and day blanket that was thrown at the foot of the bed. I'm thrilled AT&T data plan on my phone saved me from this hotels poor free wifi. I apologize for getting sick on your sheets. It wasn't your food so please don't throw points at me. Best of luck with your business plan. August 31, 2014
