Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Management and staff We always enjoy staying at Holiday Inn Express for the comfort, cleanliness, and professionalism of staff. These are qualities we know we can depend on during our stay. Our recent stay in Vicksburg, Ms. was disappointing. The staff member who was responsible for the kitchen was unable to maintain stock of any of the breakfast items, including coffee. I had noticed this same individual during our last stay at this location. She appeared to be more interested in socializing with staff than performing her duties. She allowed every item on the breakfast buffet to run out, and does not properly maintain cleanliness. I did not comment on this the last time we stayed there because I felt she may have experienced an off day which we all have from time to time, but I now see this is not the case. I feel this issue needs to be addressed by management and changed to reflect the standards of hospitality and your traditions. August 21, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by POOR!! Worst Experience!! I stay at Holiday Inn Express a lot while travel for my company. Worst experience I have encountered while travel. Normal travel day for me and it started early. When I finished for the day I got to the hotel early around noon. Front desk said that the hotel was full night before and rooms are not cleaned yet. No problem since I got there early. I was there in the lobby with whole crew of 20 plus employees waiting to check-in. Well check-in time (3 pm) came and went; still waiting for room to be cleaned. While I was still waiting for my room to be cleaned more than 4 other customers showed up to the hotel and checked in with no waiting. I am still waiting for my room. Finally, at around 4:30 pm ( 1.5 hours after check-in time) I got key to my room. I opened the door to the room and found it was not cleaned; looked like party was just completed. Front desk changed me to another room than the one I had reserved. I complained to front desk and they stated that the owners is more worried of cutting cost than maintaining his hotel to the standards set by Holiday Inn. I will not be staying at this hotel again. If the owners want to be cheap then they should own a cheaper hotel. No breakfast served. All other Holiday Inn Express hotels have provided an early breakfast for the crew. Good point was that snacks, beer and wine provided around 5 pm; I would prefer a comfortable room. August 6, 2014
