I am always extremely pleased when staying at this property. It is always my first choice when staying in the St. George area. It is close enough to St. George to have easy access to all of the amenities that St. George has to offer, but is far enough away that it is a very peaceful and quiet location. There are walking trails that begin adjacent to the property. The staff and management are extremely friendly and accommodating. The property always looks immaculate, and the rooms are always clean and very comfortable. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by 7traveler8 Hot breakfast and reasonable price
The free hot breakfast, clean rooms, roll out bed for kids and reasonable price are the real good reasons for families to stay at HIE.

The triple sheet bedding is not what I would call good.
It was still cold outside and the room was a little cool, but I set temp, I would have liked to have blankets to be able to pull around neck at night all I had was a single sheet. If I moved down on bed then I would have had two sheets, if I put feet over end of bed then I would have had three sheets.
I really felt my bedding was short sheeted.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by familythatrunstogether Clean, comfortable, and friendly staff
We love this hotel! We have stayed at this hotel every year for the past 3 years. We have stayed in every size room from a guest room to the two bedroom suite. Every room is spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff is always very friendly. The breakfast is great and always well stocked and maintained. The pool and hot tub are heated and always clean. The location is easy to get to and has easy access to Zion and St. George. We can't wait to come back next year!

Not a bad stay, clean comfortable rooms
Front desk check in was a bit chaotic and they have a room with a HOT water toilet that they are aware of that was a construction mistake, but still book the room to guests.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by canyonman Great place to stay, guests are the problem
I regularly stay here on the way between So Cal and Salt Lake or Denver, both business and pleasure. The hotel is great except for 2 things.
1. There are no places to eat nearby. If you don't want to drive far and you forget to eat or pick something up in St. George or Cedar City your selection is the local gas station.
2. Most annoying is that every time I come there there seems to be some organization with lots of kids staying there. Breakfast area is clogged with kids who mess up the place faster than the staff can clean it. They try hard but they just can't keep up.
Other than that, the staff is great, hotel is great, and it's still a regular for me. Oh, and often the sunsets and sunrises are amazing!

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Alex_SF Strange uneven experience
This was a strange and uneven experience. Front desk staff throughout were excellent and made me feel right at home. Housekeepers were loud and grumpy, while cleaning adjacent rooms with an early start, no less. The room, and indeed the entire hotel, was tired and does need renovating. The mattress was hard and the pillows soft. Felt a bit like a prison bed. Oddest was the location, though very handy to get on and off the I15, no food outlets around - nearest food was a couple of exits away. But then the breakfast buffet surprised me in being very good with a lot of choice and actually quite fresh. A 3 is generous, but good front desk staff making guests feel welcome and a nice breakfast to wake up to (assuming you actually fell asleep on the prison bed), is worth being generous for.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by travkab Disappointing stay.
Extremely lacking in customer service skills on the night staff. I checked-in around 10 pm after a long day of travel and the night guy was absolutely rude, unfriendly, and surely does not understand the number one job description: Customer Service. I am a business traveler and travel weekly across states; I live in hotels and have seen how IHG usually treats they guests. It's a shame that this location has such a pretty location; it could be a great hotel. This hotel is also far from everything so don't ask about food delivery because the staff doesn't know how to assist the guests when you ask for help. Hahaha I asked about food in the area and was told "I don't know maybe pizza". I couldn't have been the first guest to ever ask! Beside the customer service it isn't a horrible hotel (mattress not comfortable); nice place. I did cancel my reservation for next week (11 day stay) and booked Elsewhere.
