Of course who would have known that the terrible mattresses would have made sleep so difficult that night that we would hear the elevator. November 7, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very good attention to details Having become a bit discriminating over the past few years, I found the Holiday Inn Express at West Long Branch to be very fulfilling in my expectations of what a fine hotel should be like. The staff were friendly and efficient, the room was clean and well maintained. The amenities were plentiful and well maintained, and breakfast was free! How can you beat that. If I'm in the area again, I'll be back. November 7, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by clean, nice breakfast. The hotel was clean. Breakfast was good, but breakfast area was small and crowded. We enjoyed the pool. Front desk staff was very nice, but housekeeping did not clean our room, even though we were out of the room for chunks of the morning and afternoon. Poor signage at entrance to hotel/parking lot and it's easy to miss it. Short distance to Long Branch pier shopping/restaurants. Also close to Monmouth Mall. Internet access was very poor. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by We'll be back next year! The staff at the Holiday Inn Express - West Long Branch was amazing. We came with a large group of high school basketball players and parents. I was responsible for booking the block of rooms, and made many, many calls to the hotel. First to book our rooms, then to add to our rooms and finally to confirm our rooms. From the first call to the last, and from check-in to check-out, everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating. And aside from the wonderful staff, the hotel was clean, comfortable and in a great location. We'll definitely be back next year! October 30, 2014
