The rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable and close enough to the airport. The breakfast was fantastic! Much better than every other hotel I've been to around Europe.
However, we made a reservation for the airport bus and arrived in time for departure in the morning but the bus was already full. They read out the room numbers who had made a reservation and ours was one of them and stated that anyone without a reservation had to get off. When no one got off, they tossed out our luggage and left us standing on the side of the road! No apology, no instructions, they just left. Eventually the front desk arranged a taxi for us but they did so disdainfully, as though it was our fault and we were being an imposition, with much sneering and squabbling in German. Unacceptably rude and stressful when you're trying to catch a flight.

We enjoyed our stay at this HIE, and will go back next time we are in Zurich! Make sure you ask the front desk for 110V adapters for your phone/iPad charging.. helpful folks.

My wife and I stayed overnight before taking a morning flight. The hotel exceeded our expectations. The shuttle service was on time and got us to the hotel from the airport and back the next morning in good order. (It would be nice to include the schedule on the Web page.) Check-in was fast; our reservation was in order. The room was small, but efficiently designed, clean, well sound-proofed and satisfactory for an overnight stay for two people. The free Internet was a bit slow, but it worked and met our needs. Limited hanging space for clothes might be an issue for some people. A railway station with frequent train connection to and from the city is close to the hotel. Breakfast was satisfactory and is available in a timely manner for people having very early departure. Check-out was fast, in spite of the computer system being down. Overall, this hotel was a very good value for us.

The hotel has a convenient location for Zurich airport and offers frequent shuttle buses to the airport and city.
The rooms are rather small but modern and clean.
Breakfast was good and included in the rate as usual at HI express.
Parking is available right behind the hotel for a fee.
The food (dinner) in the ground floor restaurant clearly was of a very inferior standard and is not recommendable. I was, however, offered 50% off the bill after speaking with the manager.

Nice clean hotel near the Zurich airport with convenient shuttle service. Nice outdoor patio for relaxing. Excellent complimentary breakfast.

Rooms are of good quality and has been well maintained.
Customer service has to be improved alot. I have notice some staff being rude to customers and also shouting even when the customer is right or wrong.
I found the Customer Service are not properly in sync with each other, in the management of things.
I had reserved 2 rooms. 1 for 1 night, 1 for 2 nights.
My friends had checked out and had paid for the room before flying off.
When i tried to check out after the 2nd night, I was told that both rooms were unpaid and I had to pay for 2 rooms. i had mentioned that the 1st room was paid for already. The staff was not able to check their records or trace their receipts of payment.
I had to call my friend up and he had to provide a screenshot of the receipt before the staff is able to check on the payment status.
This has caused so much hassle to myself and my friend whom had to rummage his luggage in the middle of the airport for his hotel receipt.
I am totally dissatisfied with the service rendered to me. I hope this can be improved so that customer experience will be much pleasant when checking out.
I would do have to commend on the Free Shuttle Service to the Airport that is provided by the hotel, which is good given the close proximity to Zurich airport.
