Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by We had a great weekend. My wife and I looked all over for a nice place to spend our anniversary and chose the Holiday Inn Turf at Lake George, NY. We knew that Lake George was basically shut down for the season and this was a big factor in our decision. we wanted a relaxing atmosphere without tons of tourists. We got it. The hotel and the staff was as accommodating as I could ever expect. We had a great time. The food was so good and the nice relaxing indoor pool and hot tub was just what we needed to make the time of year seem like a warmer climate location. We will be back. April 22, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A beautiful hotel with all the amenities you could ask for. This was our first time up to Lake George. I spent a lot of time looking at the different hotels in the area and reading all types of reviews. The Holiday Inn was by far the stand out hotel in the area. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and had amazing views overlooking the lake. The concierge was so helpful with helping us plan what we wanted to do in the area. It was also nice to have a full restaurant and bar at the hotel. So after a long day you were able to enjoy dinner and drinks just a few steps from your room. On one of our days we decided to just lay by the pool. There was waitress service which was great. On some of the nights we noticed that they had a blow up movie screen where they played movies for the kids in the pool area. Also, during the summer there are fireworks on the lake, which you can see from the hotel with ease. Its about a 10 minute walk to the main strip of town. I would recommend this resort and Lake George to everyone. We had a wonderful time and look forward to going back again. November 16, 2012
