We had excellent stay at Indigo in Asheville. It is conveniently located at NW corner of Downtown Asheville. That means, you can walk around Downtown without having to look for parking space(If you ever been to Asheville, you know what I'm talking about). The room was laid out very efficiently. It also had very, very comfortable bed, along with lounging chair. The room was also refreshing with up to date decor, and had faux hardwood floor. It had most amazing walk-in shower stall. We're already making plans for return trip to Asheville, and of course staying at Indigo.

We've spent time aplenty in other Intercontinental hotels, but this was our first stay in the US at an Indigo hotel, so we were curious about what was in store for our stay. From the moment we arrived, staff (from Valet, to front desk), we friendly and helpful. The hotel is immediately adjacent to a busy freeway, so we had initial concerns about noise, but found our 9th floor room to be completely devoid of noise from below. The room were intriguingly designed, from the simple circular closet structure unlike any we've seen in a hotel, to modern dark wood floors instead of the typically heavily patterned hotel carpet and a beautiful photo murals (possibly a satellite photo of the blue ridge parkway) that livened up the room. There was nothing cliche about the place. The added breakfast plan was well worth the cost. We'll certainly consider this hotel and the Indigo brand on our future travels.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by AHBaumann Perfect Hotel for My Wedding
The Hotel Indigo in Asheville was exceptional for everything surrounding my wedding! Firstly, location can't be beat. We wanted our guests to stay in a great spot downtown and Indigo is walking distance to all of the great bars and restaurants. Secondly, service and overall experience is top notch. When I came in to discuss a room block and such, my mom and I talked to the manager for nearly 45 minutes about everything from the wedding to his background and all that they do to make the guest experience great. We actually did not end up booking a formal block of rooms because we had such a small wedding, but their room block agreement was very reasonable and guest-friendly. Lastly, the hotel itself is very modern, clean and comfortable. Since it was the night of our wedding, we were upgraded to the penthouse (again, very nice!), and the penthouse was amazing! Floor to ceiling windows with an incredible view of the city and surrounding areas, comfy bed and beautiful bathroom. Even the normal rooms are very nice though, and a great deal when compared to some of the other area hotels. I couldn't recommend this place enough!

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by T_Vulcano Nice accommodations - interruption in sleep
The room was a great layout. Accommodations were very comfortable and amenable to doing work in the room.
I didn't like the way they operate valet. I was a female, traveling alone, and just parked in registration to register when the valet comes over immediately and hands me a valet ticket, says you're at a 4 star hotel and they'll get your stuff; only to find out when you check out that you were charged for valet. They should ask if you'd like them to valet your vehicle for X amount of dollars before handing you the ticket and taking over.
Also, the fire alarm went of a few minutes after Midnight and woke several people on my floor up. I along with other people on my floor, were opening doors as the alarm was going off to find out what was going on. If it was a pleasure trip and I didn't have to be up at 6:00 for work, that wouldn't have been such an inconvenience. The least they could have done for that inconvenience was have offered a complimentary coffee/late or light breakfast item from their café.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by JW51 no hot water, electrical lighting problem,
over priced and no hot water to shower with. you think as expensive as it was the hot water would have been included. no one reached out to us to explain why or to give some kind of discount for having to take cold showers
