Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Over and above expected service and comfort Upon arrival everyone from the valet to the desk personnel were at my service. The initial impression of the room was something I rarely experience, in that we had a personal card welcoming us and our pet. Our pet had a bed and snacks already there for him. This I found was beyond anything experienced before.The ability to have our pet be with us in the lunge was great and the concierge gave information, suggestions and directions without having to ask for each detail. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Refreshing weekend in Asheville The modern atmosphere made the entire hotel and guest rooms seem very inviting fresh and most importantly clean. The guest room was spacious with a large bathroom and entry way in addition to the bedroom itself. There were lots of towels and loved the Aveda grooming products though was disappointed to only have soap and no body wash. I recently stayed in the Nasheville Indigo which supplied both. The bed was comfortable though some of the pillows were a little lumpy for my taste. Plus all the outlets were upside and hidden behind furniture which was a little difficult. Additionally, I tried to do some work using the in-room internet and it was so slow that I ended up just tethering my cell phone to my computer and using that service instead. They only other downside was that there was no room service available after 10pm. It was extremely cold the weekend of my stay and after walking back from dinner if would have been nice to have been able to order some hot beverages to be delivered to the room. I did visit the bar to see if I could purchase drinks and bring them up to my room myself, which I did, but the bar area was overcome with dirty tables full of dishes yet to be cleared and some inebriated guests still hanging around. But I was served quickly and able to bring my drink upstairs to my room. November 19, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great location, comfortable room, lovely staff My husband and I drove to Asheville from Philadelphia for a brief visit to the city and the Biltmore Estate. We wanted to stay as close to the downtown area as possible, so we chose the Hotel Indigo. We were so pleased to be able to walk from the hotel to all the restaurants, shops, galleries. It was quite cold so it was nice that the walk was short. We loved our comfortable room, and were pleased with the friendly, accommodating staff. Please note that the rate for the third night of our visit, a Friday, was quite a bi more expensive than the two prior nights - for the same room. That was annoying, but we assume that weekend rates in such a place are higher than weekday rates. However, we did feel that the price difference was too high. Nevertheless, we totally enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Indigo and believe that it was perfect for our brief stay in Asheville November 19, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Highly Overated and Expensive for Services Rendered Our room rate in comparison with vacation cities like Asheville was exorbitant. Once we settled in our room, we noticed and were annoyed by the major highway traffic adjacent to the room. The noise was excessive throughout our stay. Additionally, the rooms are not well insulated causing the adjourning rooms above and besides ours to be noisy. The bathroom was inadequate with only one basin for a room with two queen beds. The lighting in the bathroom was poor. We found the staff at the front desk to be "testy" when asked about the final bill. In all honesty, Hotel Indigo at this location (Asheville) is less than satisfactory and way too pricey for the services provided. November 17, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful View, Great Location for Walking Downtown! Stayed in an executive queen room with my husband for a few days, and we loved it! The mountain/city view was gorgeous, decor and style were fun, sitting area in our room was relaxing, bed was comfy, and location was perfect for wandering around downtown each day. The staff was super helpful and the amount of space we had in our suite was perfect. Keurig machine was convenient. We opened the window for some fresh air an a breeze a few times. As someone with allergies, I enjoyed the wood floor rather than carpet. Highly recommend! November 17, 2014
