In a nutshell, the staff was very rude, and didn't seem to be very concerned with the comfort of their guests.
We were not the only ones on our floor that were dissatisfied with the level of service we received. The on site manager was particularly rude when we voiced any problems we were having.
Just one example is the fact that our room was not cleaned during our entire stay, despite requesting maid service from the front desk every day when we left the property. I could elaborate on more problems but I don't wish to continue rambling about our dissatisfaction.
I would not recommend this property.

My fiance and I chose to get away for a weekend, but picked busy one with it being Valentines Day. Due to this fictional holiday many of the hotels were booked already in Asheville. We were lucky to find one of the last available rooms at Hotel Indigo and we couldn't have been more happy. The staff were warm and welcoming and the room has tons of space with all the modern amenities. Anything you need is within walking distance of the hotel.
In visiting Asheville again we will most certainly look to Hotel Indigo first.

We had a great experience at the Indigo Hotel in Ashville while traveling through. The staff met us at the door like we knew them, helped with the luggage, and parked our car. We checked in with no hassle in record time, went to the bar while they took our luggage to our room. The room was beautiful and contemporary and clean. Bedding was awesome. Bath was beautifully tiled with plush towels and Aveda bath products. Very large shower with a personal showerhead. Very spa like. We walked all over Ashville and they directed us to one of the best restaurants around. Check out in the morning was easy and the people were just great at helping us. i'd stay there again in a heartbeat. Next time I hope it is for more than one night!

Great property, clean, friendly staff. In a wonderful location for easy access to all the amenities offered in downtown Asheville. Love this city, so cultural and friendly, incredible culinary scene. Mountain views are so relaxing and beautiful. We own a home at Lake Lure and always make it a point to visit this great city as often as possible. Will definitely recommend Hotel Indigo to any family or friends planning a visit to the area!

Great food! I've stayed here multiple times for work because I can get "asheville" style cuisine right at the hotel. The music on Tuesday nights is really good too. The other nights of the week could use some music, even just a stereo because it's too quiet. Great customer service, rooms, rates, etc.

My wife and I spent 4 days there and were sad to leave. Everyone greeted you with a smile and asked if they could help with anything. The hotel is placed on the outside edge of the city ( Asheville ) which made it convenient to get to all of the local shops in walking distance or get directly on the highway. Everything was super clean all the time. We have already recommended it to some friends. Looking forward to going back.

My overall experience with the Hotel Indigo was fair. There were several issues with the hotel. When I tried to check in at 330, I was told, very rudely, that check in was not until 4. Meanwhile, 12 other guests checked in while I sat in the lobby a few feet away. I truly did not appreciate the attitude of the employee. We were encouraged to wait in the bar until 4p check in time; however, once we went to the bar, they were not yet set up to serve us. Once in the room, there was hair on the counter in the bathroom. Noise level while trying to sleep was horrid. Slamming doors, people talking and running down the hall made it hard to sleep. Otherwise, the hotel was nice and all other employees were polite and extremely helpful. One bad egg led to my unhappiness.

The wasn't just friendly, they were very professional. Everyone we came in contact with seemed sincerely interested in pleasing us. The room exceeded our expectations. I had a difficult time getting my wife to leave the room and explore downtown. We'll certainly recommend Hotel Indigo.
