Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Brilliant hotel in excellent location This was my fourth trip in just over two weeks and one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The building is in good condition and very tastefully decorated. My deluxe room had quite unusual, but surprisingly pleasant, decoration and was well maintained, clean and with reasonable space. The bathroom was well-lit, organised efficiently and with excellent amenities. The walk-in wardrobe was spacious and effective. I was pleasantly surprised to find plenty of power sockets around the room. I absolutely loved the rooftop bar and restaurant: it is such a pleasure to sit there and enjoy great food and very well-served drinks while overlooking the eternal city. But the absolute best feature of this hotel are the staff: almost all of them were warm and welcoming and very focused on providing a great customer service. There was always a smile in their interactions with me. Special mention should also go to the breakfast buffet which was varied, of high quality and featured some of the best patisserie I've ever tasted - including a home made fruit tart (called a "crostato" I believe) that was beyond fantastic. I also very much appreciated the location of this hotel, in the historic Campo de' Fiori area of the city. I was able to walk to most of the major sights rather than have to rely on taxis or public transport. In the evenings the superb restaurant scene in Trastevere was a short walk away (and certainly far better than the places in and around Piazza di Campo de' Fiori). The one point of criticism I have is that the wireless internet connection was very bad: signal strength was very low, often cutting out altogether, and even when a connection was established, this was slow and often unresponsive. I think the hotel should redesign their network infrastructure with more access points for both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz and sufficient repeaters around the building. As on this occasion I was on a leisure trip, it wasn't a major barrier, but it would prevent me from booking this hotel for a business trip as a good quality internet connection is a very essential commodity when I'm working. Despite this one negative point, which I hope they will fix (it's not expensive to get this right), I am very pleased with this hotel and had a wonderful time staying there. I certainly will go back there when I am next in Rome for a holiday. October 17, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Hotel in center city Rome Great Hotel to stay in. Will use it again if we return to Rome. Great, friendly staff. Met our expectations. Easy to walk to the Vatican and all surrounding areas. October 13, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great front desk staff, excellent location Very comfortable and easy stay. Front desk staff were friendly and efficient at check in and during our stay. If they fix the breakfast coffee (only fault we could find!) it would be near perfect October 9, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Amazing hotel in a great location Just stayed 3 nights at Hotel Indigo in Rome. Excellent hotel in a great location. Situated in the old part of the city, within walking distance of all the major sights, the hotel has a modern contemporary decor inside, whilst retaining some of the historical features. Great rooftop terrace for drinks and a spa for relaxing after exploring the city. Great hotel and would definitely recommend. October 9, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bathroom slight malfunction We enjoyed a great 3 night vacation which was only slightly marred by the position of the bathroom mirror over the basin which obstructed the operation of the plug. Nevertheless, we shall return to Hotel Indigo next time we are in Rome October 3, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wish we could have stayed longer Nice hotel, I booked with points. Location is right in the middle of everything. The room we had on the fifth floor had a terrace that was beautiful and made it difficult to get out the door in the morning to do our sightseeing. Really good room, liked the location. The rooftop bar was great to sit at and have a drink, although the staff was less than attentive. If you sit on the lounge side, you are out of sight of the bar itself, which is on the restaurant side. I like to run, so it was one block to the Tiber, which has a running path along it. Note: if you want to use the path, cross the bridge and run on the opposite side, as the side closest to the hotel did not have a dedicated path and there were a number of homeless sleeping on that side. The path allows you to run unimpeded, but since it is about sixty steps down from the street level to the river, you can't really see any scenery. However, if you run on the street, it is too congested to run comfortably. October 2, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Adequate tries to be a hip hotel but staff is too cool and the internet is weak. Great location though. Fitness center a joke. September 29, 2014
