The outdoor grill should be cleaned more often. Great customer service, room cleanliness was ok. Only 2 of 4 washers worked. Enjoyed the location the hotel was close to everything. The exercise room was great.
Charged for Parking and waited for Shuttle for over an hour at the Airport

I normally do not write negative reviews without notice to the establishment itself with that being said, I did complete a survey asking to be contacted by the Owner. No contact to date has been made. My Parents and I both stayed overnight each in our own Room for the sole purpose of being able to shuttle to the Airport for an early departure and I required to be picked up by the shuttle 4 days later. After check in my Parents room "lost electricity". My Father called me on my cell phone as the room was dark and they could not see to use the phone in the room. I called the front desk as I had electricity. I was informed they were not aware of any power outages. I was able to remedy the situation as I found the breaker box with a "tripped breaker" and corrected it. I did call the front desk to let them know I had resolved the issue. The morning of our shuttle to the Airport our Driver was friendly and was kind enough to let me know upon my return to stand under the Delta sign for pick up.
Upon my return, I called the Hotel at 6:04 PM requesting a shuttle for pick up. At 6:54 PM I called again asking if there was an issue as I had seen IHG Town Lake there twice, in addition to many other hotel shuttles on their second round so I knew traffic was not an issue. It was cool and extremely windy, so the wait was not a pleasant experience. At 706 PM the shuttle arrived and stopped for the Aero Mexico crew that had just exited the terminal to be picked up. I walked to where the shuttle was to find a young Man with long braided hair sitting in the passenger seat. On the drive to the two adjacent hotels, I overheard the young Man and Driver discussing if the "Bass Pro Shop Credit card had been paid in full". I walked across the parking lot from the Holiday Inn to the Candlewood. I entered the Candlewood, two male staff members were present, neither could provide me with the Owners name or contact information. Neither asked was there anything they could do to help. To add insult to injury, I was changed for parking which the website says it is complementary. Also, I feel like I wasted my IHG rewards night on a totally unacceptable stay and unacceptable service.

Amazing and convenient hotel for long staying. It's only minutes away from Austin International airport. Staffing are very kind and room maid ladies are very friendly and willing to help and make your stay the best possible also they speak Spanish what makes me feel like back in home.

All you need for the business trip. Comfy bed, nice shower, equipped kitchenette, dedicated work space and plenty of storage make this place feel almost like home. Easy to access highways and close to the airport too. Shuttle service available and free laundry facilities onsite. There's even a BBQ grill out back on the patio!
