    Great location, quiet comfortable bed!

    This was a great location to a lot of shopping and restaurants. It is also convenient to a lot of the key highways. The hotel is very quiet and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and the staff was very friendly and helpful!!!

    Bad Experience and Poor Service

    Worst hotel/motel experience in our lives. The front
    desk staff determined, incorrectly that we had checked
    out. They removed all of our belongings from our room
    and admitted that they split up our food and ate it. They also kept or threw out all of our bathroom items,
    shampoo, shaving items, etc. They did return our clothes and the manager, Cindy King, paid us for about
    one half of our loss and promised to pay the difference at a later date. However, she refused to pay when that
    time arrived and so we checked out immediately. My
    advice to anyone staying at the Candlewood Suites
    in Wilson, NC would be to keep very few items in your
    room.

    My stay was nothing less than great! From the staff to the room to the great sleep I got. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying longer than a few days that find daily cleaning of the room obnoxious.

    The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. The price was a bit more than we were expecting to be spending for a seemingly random town on 95, but it was nice. The staff recommended a restaurant nearby and it was excellent. We saved the leftovers in the full sized fridge and ate them for breakfast. It was nice getting the opportunity to use the kitchen. I can't count the number of times I get leftovers and throw them out because there are not accommodations in hotels. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised.

    Great stay for man and beast

    I truly enjoyed my stay. The staff took good care of me and my dog. The room is large and sufficient to have a large crate set up. The bed is comfortable as are the pillows. The heat/air unit was quiet. No road noise. Will be back.

    If you need a room quick, and don't want to stay in a bad hotel, this is the middle of the road. But between not having a room for my first booking here, and a no smoking room that reeked of smoke the second, the third seemed non eventful. Which is what I was hoping for. The staff here don't seem to recognize, or know, the rewards system. One of my favorite things is being recognized at IHG hotels for my rewards level. That is missing here.
