Disappointing for a Newly Opened Location

I think the staff need further training at this location. I requested foam pillows when I booked the reservation due to a down feather allergy, but they were not in my room upon arrival. When I called housekeeping, they did not understand my request and sent someone up for clarification which is understandable given the language barrier. The employee arrived at my room and then called someone else to try and understand what the difference between feather/down and synthetic/foam pillows are. She then insisted that my pillows were indeed foam when you could clearly see the feathers through the case and they were not synthetic down feathers. Just to be safe, housekeeping sent up a new set of pillows and this time they were finally synthetic foam pillows.

The bathroom was also not up to par. The shampoo was half empty and there was mold in the shower. I understand this location is in a hot/humid environment, but it wasn't anything a little bleach would have been able to take care of.

In addition, due to the "opening special" room rate I booked, I was unable to add on breakfast when booking the room. When I ordered the continental breakfast at the restaurant, I was not allowed to serve myself from the buffet. This was ridiculous because the staff then asked me what items I wanted from the buffet and proceeded to grossly over serve me and create lots of food wastage. For example, when I asked for yogurt I received a FULL bowl of yogurt and was provided with no toppings. Who eats a bowl of plain yogurt like this? I also asked for cereal, but was not provided any milk until I requested it. If I had prepaid for the breakfast then I would have been able to serve myself like everyone else, so I am not clear on why there is a difference in service provided.

酒店地理位置是在曼谷和芭提雅之间,但是周边没有购物中心和车站,交通问题很麻烦!没有交通车,在附近的购物中心,只有单面的免费送服务,没有接服务!离海很远,酒店前台员工英语不标准,带重口音的泰语

New Hotel in Sriracha

Holiday Inn Sriracha is new hotel which is quite nice. Room are comfortable. However, the location is quite far from crowd. There is small commercial area next to the hotel but only 2 restaurant available. Restaurant in hotel does not provide to many variety of menu, need to be improved. For those who like quite place, this hotel will be suitable. However, for those who like crowd and like to walk around the hotel, this may not be the hotel you like

Arrived at the hotel on first day of opening and was overwhelmed with welcome and accommodations. I enjoyed the gym and had a very good dinner at the restaurant on the 8th Fl. From receptionist to door man, treated like a VIP.
