Mäkelänrinne Sports and Swimming Centre

Swimmers paradise, excellent public transport links. Finland's largest and most splendid hall is a bright, modern and popular with families. 5x50m / 7x25m swimming tracks, multi-purpose pool, paddling pool, cold-water pool, hydrotherapy / recreation pool, pool lift, diving pool + diving tower, sauna + steam bath.

Olympic Stadium

The Stadium Building is 243 m long and up to 159m wide. The tower is 72m high. The Stadium covers 4.9 hectares. Stadium was inaugurated on June 12, 1938. Since its completion the Stadium has undergone eight important stages of development. The most important was the total modernization 1990-1994. At its maximum, in 1952 (the XVth Summer Olympics), the Stadium accommodated 70 000 spectators. Today, after the basic renovation, the number of spectator places, all of them seats, is 40 000.

Linnanmäki Amusement Park

The all-time Linnanmäki classic, the Wooden Rollercoaster, turned 60 years on 13th July 2011. The total number of rides in Linnanmäki is now 44. The most attractive destination of the summer, Linnanmäki is guaranteed to generate pleasant memories for visitors of all ages. By visiting Linnanmäki, you also support Finnish child welfare work.
