Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Quality Family Getaway Experience This was a great spot to take the family for a quick 3-day getaway. The hotel was clean and offered great accommodations. The shuttle, pool and breakfast were nice options for our family to maximize our visit. We will definitely stay at this hotel when we visit San Antonio again in the near future. September 1, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service, Room A Bit Outdated The staff at the hotel was wonderful! They were kind, helpful, and genuine. Even the waiter in the restaurant was friendly, patient, and kind -- and that's a big deal to us, considering we were traveling late and have 4 kids. :) However, the room left a bit to be expected. The desk chair and lamp in the room were broken. We were in a 2 queen bed room, and there was an oversized chair placed awkwardly against a wall, making it hard to get to the beds. (I'm not really sure of the purpose of the chair, since it was not even facing the tv -- it simply made the room feel tight and cramped) Also, there was a line of mold on the ceiling of the shower in the bathroom, which is pretty gross. I'm not sure if we would stay here again -- we loved the staff, but the room itself needs a little more upkeep and care. August 29, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Great place if you like cold showers! Shower were cold. When you run the water for 30-40 minutes it would sometimes get warm enough. One of the maintenance workers told me the water boiler temperature was set too low per management direction. It seemed that the maintenance manager liked to play games with the boiler temperature. He told me 101 degree showers were normal for most hotels, just run the water for 30 minutes before showering. Hotel management acknowledged the problem of cold showers, THEY AGREED THERE WAS A PROBLEM, but told me since i was the only one complaining then it must not be an issue worth addressing. I was suppose to stay 5 weeks. They were more than happy to see me check out early. August 23, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed This was very disappointing when we stayed here. We received a great package to Sea World online, but the hotel was a huge disappointment. When we checked in, our room was not thoroughly cleaned. There were clothes and food in the drawers, and a pair of flip flops under the bed. Our phone did not work, but they did come replace it. I asked the ladies up front if we could switch rooms, but all they had available was the 6th floor and it was loud there. The room was comfortable, but not very much room. We did like the refrigerator and microwave. There are two pools-one inside and one outside. The food was from the restaurant located in the hotel. All of it was great! August 18, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Worst stay ever in a Holiday Inn Room needed thorough cleaning, found mucous on curtains, used washcloth left in bathroom, grout missing from bathroom tiles (guests should never have grout come up on the bottoms of their feet when walking in the bathroom), sofa bed deplorable with a very urine stained mattress and slept in sheets. Just very disappointed for the brand I trust. It looks so nice from the outside and the lobby, etc. I did get some problems taken care of but some just came back to haunt me for a second night. No linens should be used that are stained or have holes in them....definitely time to invest in new ones. I kept my kids in the King size bed both nights....so disappointing for the money it cost me.
