It's not somewhere to take the girlfriend for a romantic night away. There is nothing really within walking distance other than the Abbey Wood retail park across the other side of the ring road. I would prefer that the description at the point of order was explained that the breakfast is not included than to be disappointed. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Hotel i've stayed in I absolutely loved my stay, the staff greeted us with a smile and was really friendly. The room was clean and comfy, the bedding was super soft and had a choice of hard or soft pillow. We were cheeky to check for dust on door frames, as you do, and couldn't find ANY! Well done to your cleaners. I had a good sleep (bit hard to get to sleep and relax as I was wedding dress shopping, nothing to do with the hotel) At breakfast which came with the fantastic price, I was surprised to see a big range of food, hot, cereal, mini pastries, toast and jams with a range of tea, coffee and juice, I also loved seeing the staff coming in regularly to replenish the food and clean the sides. Even though we didn't need to take advantage of the "forget anything" option with razors, shaving foam and ladies toiletries, it was a lovely touch. Would recommend and will definitely use this hotel again, even if it's not in Bristol. The only thing I would change is the pub near by as it was dampening compared to the happy cheerful atmosphere of the hotel, Maybe have food served later, as we came back at 8ish.
