Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor customer service On check in, after arranging an early check in time we we're told no rooms were ready. The manager then organised a room for us that was ready. We were not told any details as the receptionist was more interested in telling us she wasn't allowed the day off. Details like what time check out was, what time breakfast was or where it was served? We then had to follow our noses to the room, not an issue but not difficult to say take the lift behind you? Instead just watch us look around. There was also someone hoovering te reception as we arrived. Although the Hoover was on the the gentelman was just standing it with it with made it quite difficult to hear the people on reception. When we then tried to get in the lift the gentleman hoovering stood blocking the lift, again with the Hoover on but not actually doing any hoovering The room was fine and was nice and quite expect birds in the morning which can't be helped May 29, 2015

The breakfast included was lovely and more than adequate, considering this is "holidays Inn" budget chain, it was blooming brilliant. All I can say to the Bristol holiday inn express is keep up the good work, I will definitely come back . May 29, 2015

Efficient, courteous staff; a comfortable, well-equipped room; a no-fuss, self-service arrangement in the breakfast room - all this made for an overall good stay. May 17, 2015
