Diverse and beautiful regional parks capture the unique outdoor Colorado Experiences: Fox Run Park, Black Forest Park, Palmer Park, Bear Creek Park, Ute Valley Park, North Cheyenne Canyon Park, and Santa Fe Trail, all offer great experiences picnicking, hiking, or walking the easy trails.
Colorado Springs boasts of sunshine almost every day, but it also can have quick changing weather. So come prepared for changes in weather, any season of the year. Also, at almost 7,000 feet, the air is thin, so drink plenty of water and keep sunscreen on as you can burn easier than at lower altitudes.
