Our experience was good overall, the bed in particular was super comfortable. It appears that this property is undergoing renovations though, so look for changes soon. Also, a few pieces of the gym equipment could do with a servicing. The breakfast was good and staff were very attentive.

I've been an IHG member for a long time and Holiday Inn Express is always my choice when it is available. Our experience at the front desk was great and we got a suite at an awesome price. From there it went downhill. We unpacked everything and went to turn on the TV and it didn't work. We called and the front desk clerk came up and she tried and couldn't get it to work. She said no one from maintenance was available. I asked if they could bring in another TV. She went downstairs to call her manager and called to say no, there was no way to do that. She said we could move to another room but it was on another floor and we didn't want to pack everything up and move and unpack again. She didn't offer a cart or anyone to help us with the move (as I've had offered at other hotels in similar situations). The shower drain didn't work and we were in water up to our ankles by the end of the shower. There was blood or some kind of make up on the shower liner and the tub floor was dirty (probably because it didn't drain). There were black marks on the walls in the bathroom (maybe mold?) and the window's dark out liner had several rips in it that let in the light. If this would have been my first stay at a Holiday Inn Express it would have been my last but hopefully the next stay at another location will be back to normal. We were given an extra 10,000 points for this awful experience so that helped a little. Much needs to be done at this place!

My money would have been better spent elsewhere. This is not a bad place, but it is not worth the price.

Great clean rooms, comfortable beds, friendly staff, excellent breakfast bar. Location is great, shopping and great restaurants right across the road.

The facility is going thru a much needed renewal. Expect a few inconveniences. The staff is super. Jacob made us want to return to see the upgrade and we certainly will be back.

There was an issue with our double queen room and we were upgraded to 2 kings at no charge. The beds were so comfortable! Lots of pillows and the rooms were very clean. Internet was a little slow and the jets in the hot tub were not working to well. Literally our only complaints.
