Great place in a good Budget

It’s the best option if your child is in Emory. It’s close to the University and has what it takes to be a good Hotel. Except for Breakfast all else is very good. Definitely recommend.

The hotel was very nice. I liked that they had several pillows on the bed in different firmness. We had a room with a sofa in it., so it was quite spacious. I wish the sofa was closer to the window (and AC unit), and the bed farther away. When the AC came on it was blowing directly on the bed and the person closest to the unit. The breakfast was good for a hotel breakfast and it offered several food choices.

Nothing beats a warm welcome when you arrive at a hotel, and this place nailed it. The front desk agent made me feel right at home and even hooked me up with the exact room I’d asked for. The whole property was spotless and wonderfully quiet—I slept like a rock. My only gripe was the A/C, which didn’t cool down the room quite enough, but the friendly staff was quick to help and super responsive.
Breakfast was solid too—not a massive spread, but enough tasty options to get you energized for the day. When we’re back in the area, this will definitely be our go-to spot!

Really enjoyed my stay for two and a half weeks at Holiday Inn Express Decatur. Very clean room, very clean kitchen/breakfast area, and very sweet friendly staff. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

the lady at the front desk during the day time was very warm, genuinely cared and was kind. we flew all the way from the other side of the world and to be greeted like that feels like home. i hope the management recongises and rewards such behaviour by the front desk. The front line is the most challenging but also the first impression for the brand and the lady did an exceptional job.

Person at Front Desk was wonderful - professional and polite. Person managing breakfast was also kind and very professional. One of the beds was not right - but with one person, I was able to use the other one in the room. Wish all hotel staff were as good as those I met at this property.
