Everything you need. Clean, tidy, amazing staff, shops and amenities so close. The perfect place to stay in Hull to see shows or a night out.

After a gap of 7 years my brother and I arrived at the hotel to be greeted by numerous members of staff who were still working there and who remembered us. It was a very pleasant experience and we would highly recommend each and every member of staff who works there as being extremely friendly and hard working.

Cleverly designed, comfy room. Clean and quiet. Staff friendly. Enjoyed the outdoor balcony area and indoor viewing points. Good breakfast and excellent location next to station. Would definitely stay again.

Upon our arrival we were greeted by a friendly receptionist who allowed us to check in early.Everything was made extremely clear about the facilities.
Room was clean and comfortable.
The breakfast was excellant.

I regularly stay at this hotel and normally enjoy my stay. However, on this occasion, the room was stifling and far too hot. The air-conditioning wasn't working and I couldn't open the window as it was broken.
I spoke with the receptionist who was very friendly & helpful who also explained that the air-conditioning wasn't working on the floor of the room where I was staying.
The receptionist kindly put a fan in my room but even with the fan, it was still too hot & I had a very uncomfortable night.
Lovely staff, room was uncomfortably too hot.

I often stay at this hotel and I'm usually satisfied. However, on this occasion, my room was far too hot, the air-conditioning wasn't working and I couldn't open the window as it was broken.
I mentioned this to the reception staff who were friendly, helpful, apologetic and kindly put a fan in my room.
However I has a very uncomfortable night because the room was still far too hot.

This hotel is well situated in the city centre it has an indoor carpark and is adjacent to the main railway and bus interchange. The rooms were very comfortable and well appointed making for a good night's sleep. I spent 5 nights over Easter and was well catered for.
There is just one irritation which I mentioned to some staff on duty. The chairs in the bar/breakfast area constantly grate on the wooden floor, it is very annoying especially at busy breakfast times. The solution is that the rubber feet on the chairs or the chairs themselves need to be renewed.
Not withstanding the above I hope to be back again and would recommend the hotel.

We have stayed in this hotel many times and like the location and staff. However we were woken around 3.30 in the morning with shouting and swearing in the corridor that went on for about 5 mins. Could not get back to sleep after that. When we went for breakfast there were 2 female police officers outside 2 rooms. Blood splatter down one of the doors. They were there most of the day. On Saturday afternoon plain clothes police came to the room for statements on what we had heard.
On Saturday evening I had to ask hotel staff to ask someone who was on facetime literally shouting down the phone. We were in the lounge having a drink. Not the best.

We arrived a little bit earlier. But Front desk had a warm welcome back to us. Front Desk staff was so helpful. Names David and Jack!
They could not help us enough with our room. The room was clean and smelt fresh, and tidy. The breakfast was great too, warm welcome from Andrea ( breakfast lady).
The house keepers were so happy to Help us too. Always with a smile. And when we were checking out, Allison (Front desk) cheerful as ever. Well done Holiday inn express, Hull. 👏👏👏One of the best!
