Beach Beautiful. Pool perfect. Facility clean. Breakfast really good. Rooms just what you need. They do need better lighting in the bathroom and an exhaust fan.

Beautiful property/beach, friendly and attentive staff. Rooms are on the older side and could use an upgrade. A lot of choices for eating and drinking, casino was modern. Lots of stores on premises, and many stores and restaurants nearby. Prices are on the expensive side.

My husband and I went to Aruba for the first time and stayed here. This beachfront property was perfect- from the location, to the beach, the room, the bars and the food and the staff, we had such a wonderful experience. We stayed for four nights and didn't rent a car. So much was within walking distance and cabs were easily available if we didn't want to walk.
We chose not to do an all-inclusive because we wanted to try the restaurants in the area, but the one restaurant we ate at on property was Agave, and it was delicious food.

Pros
We had a wonderful stay at this resort. We were there to celebrate my birthday as well as our 25th wedding anniversary. From the moment we arrived, the experience was warm and welcoming. Don at the check-in desk made the process smooth and enjoyable- he was incredibly friendly, helpful, and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. He even gave us some wonderful suggestions for places to eat with the locals and places to visit. His professionalism and kindness really set the tone for a good trip. The resort itself was beautiful, well-maintained. The staff overall were attentive and courteous throughout our stay.
Cons
One of the downsides is that you have to rent the beach umbrellas and shaded sitting areas. There is very little shaded areas and it's extremely hot, so you are kind of forced to do so if you don't want to get scorched by the sun. I also wasn't told that you have to go online and rent the shaded places if you want one. Also, make sure you pay close attention when booking your room. I selected an Oceanview thinking I would get an Oceanview like most hotels have where your room is completely facing the ocean. No, the lady said I should have scrolled down further and selected Ocean Front view. The regular Ocean View rooms are on the side of the building, and you can see the ocean partially from your room/ balcony. My most disappointing experience was at check-out which unfortunately did not match the level of kindness and professionalism as our stay. I suggest that if you pay for anything with your credit card, take a picture or ask for an itemized copy of your receipt. The lady tried to charge us for something we had already paid for. When I showed her my credit card receipt, she stated "that doesn't tell me what you purchased." I asked should that matter as long as my receipt matched up to the location, time and date of what she was claiming we owed (keep in mind, we NEVER charged anything to our room. Everything was paid with cash or with credit card).
Overall
That said, the overall experience of both the hotel and the island was excellent and Don's outstanding service at check-in deserves special recognition. I would definitely return and recommend this resort to others!

Excellent stay! We would highly recommend this resort. Atmosphere, food, and amenities were exactly what we needed. The cleanliness, and staff were excellent and accommodating. Our only negative review would be they need to upgrade the height of the toilets throughout the resort. Way too low, for this aging couple!

I chose the Holiday Inn Resort for several reasons. One reason being its location in relation to all of the nearby dining, shopping, and entertainment. Another reason being all that the resort had to offer. And lastly, the cost. Great price for a great vacation!

Our 3rd trip to Aruba and to the Holiday Inn. We love everything but your wonderful staff is what sets you apart and keeps us coming back.
We were greeted at check-in with the best hospitality! All servers at Ocean side and Seabreeze and pool staff. Our favorites are Louise, Andres, Earl, Jeffrey, Maxi, Franky, Derrell and Pedro. Everyone seems to enjoy their job!

From the moment we arrived at the resort we were greeted by everyone we came in contact with. The hotel is beautiful. It was very clean. We stayed in the Palm Tower. The location of the hotel is great with lots of shopping at the hotel and within walking distance. There are many food options. We loved eating at the Pelican Pier. Breakfast at Corals every morning. We utilized a covered spot on the beach every day. We played at the on site casino every night. There is nothing bad we can say about our stay except it was no long enough. We were there for 5 days.

Another great vacation at the Holiday Inn Aruba. Great weather, great friends, great food, and great memories made. Don will make your check in easy, while Edward, Andres, Jose, Jackie, Stephanie, and Lucia make your time at any of the bars fun. Smitty, Jeffrey, and Leabitt will take care of all your beach needs with a smile, and Bert will keep you moving with water aerobics. All of the staff are helpful, friendly, and fun, and we can't wait to return!!

Holiday Inn is a great location to enjoy the beautiful wonders of Aruba. The staff is outstanding, they are welcoming and make sure you have the best stay whether your traveling with a group of people or all by yourself! The food is delicious and if you'd like to step off the resort for food it's in a great location to do so.
The sunsets from the Holiday Inn are outstanding and you should miss any of them!
