Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not the grade of hotel you would expect I stay at InterContinental Hotels in various countries two times a month (on average). I have stayed at the other locations in Tokyo and this was the first time to stay at the Yokohama one. It is a nice location and has interesting architecture. However the rooms are not up to par with this chain. The twin beds when booked over the phone would allow 4 to sleep but the beds were small (I concede it is Japan and things are tighter). The worst thing was the smell of smoke in the room, despite them stating it is a non-smoking hotel. They provided a air freshening machine and spray for the curtains, but as a guest to expect me to spray when the spray wears off is definitely not worth the price of this room. June 27, 2015
