Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Crown Plaza Market Center This property is at a very convenient location, close to Love Field and freeway access. The staff are all very friendly and the rooms are quiet. The parking lot is also very secure now with the fence around the perimeter. I highly recommend this property. May 26, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Go elsewhere By noisy freeway. Specifically asked for room away from freeway. I was given room on freeway side of hotel twice. The cafe staff was excellent however. Looked like a rodent dropping on the bed. I will not stay here again. May 19, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Regular Guest I'm at the Crowne in Dallas about every 6 weeks for a full week. Really enjoy the hotel, amenities and most of all the staff! They have always been helpful and attentive. I highly recommend this hotel. The only thing that would make it better would be a better coffee pot in the rooms :) May 13, 2014

I found everyone I came in contact with to be very professional, even the housekeeping gal that I rode in the elevator with after her shift had ended. The room was well equipped, clean and attractive. The breakfast was excellent and the restaurant food was very good. The bar was well stocked with many nice liquors and a decent wine list. The shuttle service was exceptional in that all of the drivers were very efficient and courteous and were very quick to pick up after we called in. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It was so easy and convenient to take advantage of the complimentary shuttle service. The hotel looks luxurious and expensive, but the price I paid was very reasonable. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Too busy to help? I arrived late in the day after a marathon drive, all I wanted was to kick back and relax a little before heading to bed. The front desk was staffed by 6 people - all of whom we're on the phone. There was a lobby full of confused guests when I walked in, it seemed as if none of them was acknowledged by the front desk. I dealt with an agent who was on the phone throughout the check in process, he never made eye contact or thanked me for my loyalty. I was handed a room key and told where the elevators were. No thanks, nothing. When I opened the door to my room I found another guest inside. The mistake was not mine, I went to the room written down on the card and opened the door with my key. I returned to the desk and approached the agent who helped me previously. After explaining the situation I was flatly told that I was wrong. A manager quickly stepped in and assigned me a new room (while she was on the phone). I don't know what was going on but it made for a rather unpleasant experience. Attentive, high-quality customer service is a reason I choose IHG hotels. March 26, 2014

All areas of the hotel staff did an amazing job taking care of my 1,708 guests and then some. This is an awesome place for several events and organizations I host events for. I look forward to March 2015 for our 20th annual event. The service at this location helps you overlook some physical aspects. I look forward to continued improvements like the Indoor Pool HVAC system and the restoration and renovation of the hot tub area. These are major amenities and basic needs of our event. To the owners... ever consider building out the second floor meeting space to go above the pool? Brings in revenue and lowers HVAC system needs and costs for the pool area. My three events need the extra meeting space to continue using this property. The bedroom HVAC systems need replacement too. Again, some physical aspects. But we are so grateful for an awesome team that services our event. March 24, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by un happy It is with much sadness that I write to you in regards to my resent stay at your hotel . ( Crown Plaza 7050 N Stemmons Freeway Dallas TX 75247.) I was a guest of your hotel, for an event Dallas Bear. I was checked into you hotel from 03-12-2013 and checked out 03-18-2014. I have a few issues that I would like to make you aware of. 1. The room 1716 that I was a guest in for the week, was fitted with a self-select Air conditioning control unit which would allow me to increase or decrees the A/C / Heat in my room. The week in Dallas was a cold week, with the night dropping below 41 dec. I phone and spoke to the front desk many times regarding this issue and was told on the third occasion I Quote ( look this is how it is, you can either have Ac or heat but unable to have both. If you want heat I will have to send the maintenance man up to switch it over to heat for you, but if it gets to hot Don’t call the front desk and waste our time to only have the maintenance man on duty to come back and fix the unit back to cold. If it get hot just turn the unit off) ? Question: if the guest is unable to have comfort control of the A/C unit why do you have selectable comfort control’s in the room. 2. Finally I had to work down stairs and ask for a blanket to keep myself and my partner warm, was informed that the hotel don’t have blankets to give out . I returned to my room, to take a hot shower to warm up, and about 30 minutes later I have a knock on the door. I opened the door and found a white Bed cover on the floor in front of my door. Great customer service. 3. I had also notice that the sheets on my bed had not been changed on the second day of my stay with your hotel. So the next morning when I woke up I marked the corner of the sheets on both beds with a little black dot to see if the maid was taking the time to remove the bottom sheet and swapping them around. Not sure how it goes but it something like the bottom sheet moves to the top and a new clean sheet on the bottom, well I guess that she run out of time because my bed and my friends bed had the same top and bottom sheet on the bed for the next 3 days. I spoke to the front desk manger about my concern and explained how unhealthy this is, and was told that they would get in touch with the Housekeeper manager and speak to the house keeper that made up our room. Well to my surprise nothing was passed onto the manager of housekeeping. It is a shame to see the lack of concern for a large group of people that stay and support you hotel supports. 4. Next year event I will be thinking twice about staying with your facility. It is just unacceptable to be ignored on simple request that could have and should have been taken care off when brought to the managers attention. My concerns will also be forward to the Dallas March 24, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Consider only as a last resort I had a lung transplant recipient at a nearby hospital. I have been staying there for two years off & on both pre & post transplant. I made a reservations for two nights, however, when you go to the lung clinic there is always the possibility they will keep you over for follow-up test. When checking in I told the evening clerk that we may need to stay at least one more day. The clerk said "this was no problem". As it turned out I needed that additional day. We were told then that there were no rooms available. Despite our pleading with the manager, they kicked us out. Loyalty means nothing to these people. I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN! March 7, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Never stay at a Crown Plaza in Dallas! Two Mom's and two teenagers arrived with a room with two beds reserved. Upon arrival there was only one full size bed. The Crown said they only guarantee a room and have the right to change out rooms; even if the room no longer accomodates the number of guests! Wow. We finally got a rollaway bed at midnight and had to farm the other teenager out to another team member's room. And, the room also did not have AC so they brought a box fan (how nice!#. And, the bathroom sink did not drain! I complained so much they let me cancel the second night. I booked the Downtown Crown for the second night. I booked two beds for four people. When we arrived the Downtown Crown gave us room with a King size bed for four people and did not have any rollaway beds! My daughter ended up taking the headboard down and sleeping on it since much better than the floor with who knows what! Again, the Crown said they only guarantee a room not the beds! NEVER EVER EVER STAY AT A CROWN PLAZA!!! On the way back to Oklahoma I booked a Holiday in Express in Gainsville. They had my room with 2 queen size beds and everything worked! HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS BEATS OUT A CROWN PLAZA ANYTIME! oh, and I gave the bar drink coupons #given to me by the Crown in lieu of BEDS) to the homeless folks outside the Crown! March 4, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great service My sister cancelled the Crowne plaza on Elm thinking that was closer to the Dallas Convention Center(which it was) and asked me to book Crowne Plaza on Stemmons which I did ,the agent was so informative and transferred me to rent a car (hertz)great deal. Your check-in agent (Kenny )was delightful and a great asset to your company. Terrence in the Restaurant at dinner and a gentleman at breakfast(sorry I didn't get his name however salt n pepper Spanish)I do hope you know who I'm referring to. We will definitely recommend to our friends next year. P.S Breakfast to be included and not continental, it was delicious and free parking and free Wi-Fi(what else to ask for)I will think of something else(smile). Shuttle transportation was provided to me three times during my stay at the hotel. Every time the shuttle was on time and accomidating. My room was affordable and very nice. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good stay overall I hosted a 3 day, 2 night board meeting at this hotel. The weather was terrible outside and you could tell in the lobby. It was very cold due to the continuous opening of the door as you walked by it. The meeting rooms were also effected by it. Some of my members had cold rooms but after making a request to the hotel to fix it, they did promptly and didn't have a problem after that. One board member did have room that did not get cleaned. She did not report it but should have and I will. The food was very good and the staff was very nice and attentive. Overall, a good stay and we will see how they do in May when we have another meeting there. February 10, 2014

Throughout the night the plates were not picked up, missing silverware, etc. However we had a great time at the party. The room was clean and spacious. The check in process was efficient and friendly. The breakfast area is dated, cramped, and has a limited selection. January 5, 2014

Rooms are great, morning views of the city are memorable. I wish I could say that of the Banquet Team (Front of House). They really dropped the ball during our New Year's Eve dinner. Omg! Understaffed with no order or method. Tables without food. Servers were clueless to guest missing meals. Kids meals late. Awful awful.. Worst Team Captain ever!!! Total lack of control. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Enjoyable stay We had an enjoyable stay here. We stayed there two nights in November which was very cold. The only thing is that their heaters need to be turned on by a maintenance person. On the bright side we had the guy at our door within five minutes from calling the front office. At checkout the person on duty didn't know I had paid my deposit with cash. I had to tell him and he had to call the person that had checked me in to verify. Thank God the guy remembered and I got my deposit back. That made me a little nervous but thed didn't give me a hard time. I would stay again but I'd make sure I'd get something in writing when I check in (receipt is not enough because it doesn't specify what was paid with cash and/or credit). December 4, 2013
