Will be back

By

23 March 2015

Business in Dublin for me is at the airport, this hotel is ideally located and opposite a beautiful park.
Unlike some airport hotels there are pleasant walks available and shops and restaurants within walking distance.
Staff are always friendly and welcoming, food in the restaurant and bar is always excellent.

Great Service , Uncomfortable bed and pillows

By

22 March 2015

The service was excellent and the Staff made me feel welcome at the very start. The hotel was a mixture of refinement and Vegas. That is the only way I can describe it. The lobby was nicely laid out with a large soothing aquarium to view. The doors to the Lifts opened exposing gaudy etched mirrors which me feel I was back in Vegas. Once deposited on my floors lobby I was greeted by a sofa which was nice at first glance but as I got closer it looked worn and dishevelled again " casino" or something I came across in a hotel that had a Party clientele. My room was lovely, large nicely decorated. Unfortunately the chairs looked like they saw a few to many parties and I quickly decided not to sit down on them. They didn't suit the room décor or the cleanliness of the room. The bathroom was spa like and had everything laid out nicely and large soft towels. I also enjoyed the sleep aromatherapy, the complimentarily bottled water , tea , coffee and biscuits. The park adjacent to the hotel allowed a nice morning run which started my day off nicely and in the lobby apples and water supplied for my return. Nice touch!

All in all a nice stay. Would do it again if it wasn't so far from Dublin ...30 min journey in on a crowded bus. Its okay for a holiday but when you have to get to work its a bit stressful.

What I would change? update the sofa outside the lifts on the lobby floor, update the chairs in the room, supply a shuttle into City centre one at 8 am and pick up at 6 pm.

Comfortable hotel close to the airport

By

21 March 2015

platinumelite

Close to Dublin airport, but not noisy, the rooms are reliably to a high standard and the Irish Stew from the bar menu is great.
Shuttle bus is a reliable 10 mins from the airport at 20 mins frequency.
Not a lot of life nearby, so get into the city if you want more than a friendly pint in the hotel bar.
