A great stay, helpful staff

We were very pleased with our 2 stays during our trip to Oman. Both rooms were facing the sea, one had a balcony and had been modernised and the other although larger had an older style bathroom. Both were well equipped and comfortable. The staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful, organising transport to the mountains, printing boarding cards and arranging another room for us to rest and shower before a late flight back to Europe.
We enjoyed the swimming pool, access to private beach and the shuttle services to the Mosque, souq and mall. Plenty of bottled in the room and a free drink as ihg club member very welcome. Enjoyed all meals at the hotel.

Friendly staff

We were welcomed with smiles from everyone from the doorman to the Concierge. Our room was upgraded when we presented our IHG card and all needs looked after. The room was spacious, clean and newly decorated and all ammenities provided in the bathroom. I appreciated the sleep aromatherapy kit, but didnt sleep that great as I felt the mattress was a bit hard. A thicker mattress cover would have helped. We enjoyed the Seafood night in the restaurant, but the procedure for requesting the BBQ choice and how it is supposed to get to your table needs to be explained. We weren't told to return for it, sat and waited and finally went back to find a cold, overcooked meal.
All in all, it was the friendliness of the staff that we remember the most and would definitely recommend this hotel.
