The staff that was responsible for our morning breakfast buffet was exceptional. We had a little league team game to be played at the Dallas Cowboy Stadium Field and I was traveling with a small child and an elderly parent. The waiter Kim worked with me to make sure that my entire family was taken care of and was able to eat breakfast as a family, although we were running about 15 minutes late. Thank God for Ms. Kim, it is was not for her, I would have missed the opportunity to travel to the game and my son for the game. I will be returning to this hotel this summer in celebration of my Son's 12th birthday. He has decided he would like to spend his birthday weekend going to Six Flags, Wet-n-Wild, and the Grand Prairie Outlet Mall. Thank you for a great stay and an awesome experience.

I was there with my son's 10yr old football team. With the indoor pool and pool table in the restaurant, they were well entertained. The breakfast buffet left something to be desired, though. Many people in our party went to the IHOP out front for breakfast on our second day. They said they would rather pay a full price for breakfast than the discounted rate we were given as a group ! I was not happy upon check in with my room reservation as I had requested an adjoining room for my mother and was told when I made my reservations this would be no problem, especially given the length of time in advance I had made the reservations. We were given the option of being placed on another floor and we could have the adjoining room, but this would have made my son be on another floor, away from the rest of the team. Which was the reason we were there in the first place. Then to find out that another party had checked in to adjoining room next to my mother on our second night and we were not given the option of changing rooms was somewhat disappointing knowing that we had requested adjoining rooms initially. Also found a random hair, not my color, floating in my toilet when I checked in.

This holiday inn is in a good location for events in the arlington area, but I would probably not use this one again. We had to wait about 30 minutes just to get a room because they didn't have them ready. Not that big of a deal, but after driving 5 hours with children the last thing you want to do is sit in the lobby and wait. Upon getting the room it smelled like a campfire for some strange reason. I could go on ,but I will just say it was mediocre.. Pass on this one :(

My trip to Arlington was for a Cowboys football game. My stay at the Holiday Inn was a very pleasant experience. The staff was great the food was good, and I could walk to the stadium in half an hour, Chuck Owen

Very clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Food quality could improve. Shuttle bus to game was great. Cost for shuttle was fair. Cowboy items for sale in lobby was a nice touch. Will stay here again for next game.

I like the spacious lounge area and common TV room that allows for viewing enjoyment on large screen without disturbing other guests. The little "store" selling knick-knack such as water and cookies...offers great convenience at 2-3 AM! Most of all I enjoyed the spacious double-bed room although I wish that the free coffee were of better quality. I commend in particular the courtesy and helpfulness of the staffs at the reception desk (Shea and Bernado (?)/driver. Finally, please add an entrance sign on the street. As of now you can see only the IHOP restaurant first. As it was at night time and dark when I first arrived, I missed the entrance all together!

We had a very unusual problem during our stay that has never happened anywhere else before. We were locked out of our room for over 2 1/2 hours. For some reason the electronic/magnetic key device on the door stopped working so we were not able to get back in our room. We were offered another room but all of our things were already inside of the room we couldn't enter. The desk attendent, Shea, was fabulous! He tried to help get us into the room and called the maintenance man, and called us when the door finally opened to tell us we could come back. I know that it was a fluke thing but it terribly inconvenienced us since the door didn't open until almost 10:30 and I have two small children that were tired and up way past their bedtime, plus we needed to be up early for a very important event the next morning. The hotel was very clean but our room was really dusty, like it hadn't been used in a long time. Despite these two things, we would have had a great experience and I wouldn't be afraid to stay here again.
