Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Our stay We've stayed at this hotel before. Our daughter attends school down in Bloomington. We knew from past experience that they have sleep number beds in their room and we just aren't big fans after a night of very poor sleep there. So we requested two different times for a room w/out a sleep number bed. When we checked in that's what we got. So back to the front desk to get another room. Got it, went to the new room, put the key in the door, didn't work. Back to the desk, get two new keys, still didn't work. That's when she tells us there's probably something wrong w/the door. So on to room number 3. Finally success. Right beds, keys worked. But too much messing around w/stuff that we shouldn't have had to. The hotel is dated. The hallway to the room where we stayed smelled a little like someone left the gas on. Then a little like a nursing home the closer we got to our room. The wallpaper was coming off the walls in the bathroom, but probably because there was no exhaust fan. The shower was for a handicapped person, so there was a period of time on the phone w/the front desk while my husband stood naked in the shower trying to shower. When housekeeping arrived at the door, I let them know that he wouldn't want to be seen in all his glory. Thankfully they left. It's not like I won't stay there again, but I hope the next time we get the room we request and maybe somewhere else in the hotel instead of in the *basement* section where we seem to be placed. Also this was the 2nd time we've used the restaurant at the hotel. It's inadequately staffed. Took 45 minutes to get our food. And it wasn't all that great anyway. The best part of this stay, w/our IHG reward points, the room was free. So that's something!! December 10, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Internet and Tv Stayed there 3 times in past 2 months and internet is like molasses at night when people are there and TV stations go in and out - did this every time I was there. They never addressed the Internet issue other than to say it was overloaded bc they were busy. Isn't that the point,to be busy? December 3, 2014

Visiting family to celebrate Thanksgiving and an early Christmas. My wife and I enjoyed the hotel. The rooms were a little smaller than most Holidays Inns we have stayed at and the bathroom was too. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable Stay Good location within walking distance of IU's Memorial Stadium and Assembly Hall, but just a short cab/long walk to downtown Bloomington or IU's gorgeous campus. Really enjoyed that the hotel had Sleep Number beds as it guaranteed you would be comfortable at night no matter how you prefer your mattress. Clean, quiet hotel with ample parking and multiple card-secured entrances. Only issue would be if you had someone in a wheelchair, the rooms would not be accessible from the main lobby without going outside. December 2, 2014
