I travel for work and usually stay at only IHG hotels. This hotel is clean, & quiet, however the staff is very unhelpful and willing to go that extra mile to make sure that the platinum elite is kept happy and are not willing to work with those cardholders. As stated before I was staying here for work, my job ended early and I was still charged a half day for checking out early. Breakfast is NOT A FREE option. You will be charged on a per person basis. It seems as if they try to charge you for everything that they can at this location. Unfortunately this has been a unfriendly IHG hotel. I do realize that not all IHG hotels are like this and will continue to use IHG in other locations, however if I'm working in this location again I will be staying at a different chain in the vicinity.

I travel for business 1 week per month and always look for HI or HI Express closest to my destination. Generally speaking I have had well above average experiences. During my recent stay at the Lima, OH HI I traveled with 4 other Colleagues and had the following problems:
1. We checked in after 5 PM and were assigned our rooms - two of my Colleagues went to there rooms and they were not ready - the cleaning staff was still working on the rooms.
2. When I received my bill in the morning slipped under the door I found a bar charge to my room that was not mine. I had to have this removed at check out and a new bill re-issued.
3. Restaurant was supposed to open at 6:30 AM. We were on a tight schedule and needed to leave the hotel by 7:15 at the latest. Restaurant did not open until almost 6:45 AM because the waitress was late due to her dogs?? Ordered oatmeal and English Muffin. Both we cold and not appetizing.
Bottom line I will never stay or recommend HI Lima, OH .

I found my room to be "clean"...but not. I arrived later in the evening and didn't want the hassle of changing rooms.
Ironing board/iron left out. Used soap left in shower. Bed...questionable, so I slept just below the top blanket.
It was nice to finally have a desk where the chair sat high enough...like a normal desk vs. so many where the desk level is chest high...

This hotel is great. I love the rooms! Even a standard room has free internet, wireless and hardwired! This is a big plus for me because I prefer to use the hardwired, simply because it is faster than wireless. Most hotel simply don't offer wired internet.
The restaurant has great food at market prices. Unlike other hotels, the food is not over priced for the convenience of the restaurant being in the hotel. I think this is because the restaurant is owned and operated by the hotel not a third party company. The quality of the food is great, as good as any local restaurant.
The hotel staff is also very friendly and helpful.
Location is great.
Pool and gym is great.
I love staying here and I will anytime I travel to Lima, OH.

Staff is very accommodating...we have enjoyed this property in the past...and will continue. Construction makes it difficult to access the property from I 75 from the North. Its not the hotels fault...just an observation.

This is a very execellent hotel to stay at. Food was good and reasonable. Very clean and good staff. It is a quiet hotel also. I would recommended this hotel.

Not sure why, but when checking into the room I need to unplug the TV so all the channels can be accessed and I can see what channel I am watching. According to the staff this started when the hotel updated to digital.
