Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable Bed and Room Temperature I found the mattresses extremely hard and inflexible. Made sleeping somewht difficult. I was unable to get a comfortable temperature using the thermostat. The air conditioning didn't appear to have option to set the temperature for auto-shut off. Room was extremely cold when I returned from dinner. Found myself waking back up during the night to turn the air conditioning back on. All in all though, my stay was more than satisfactory. I would recommend Holiday Inn to others. August 11, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Review Lima The overall visit was very nice. On the down side the bathroom door in my room had to be kept shut or it would creep open and hit the main entrance door. Looking at it from the inside the top of the door was an inch away from the door jamb and the bottom was tight against the jamb. Not a fuctional problem but something is wrong. I did notice that a lot of the edges of the dark stained wood had nicks in it and showed white underneath. I would suggest you have someone periodically take a brown touch up marker and touch up the nicks. Again, just a bad look for no older then the unit is, maybe a bad choice in the wood. or color. My breakfast of eggs and bacon was cold when I got it. My wife who came down 10 minutes after I got there got her food before I did, not a bad idea but what is so hard about bacon and eggs? Did not receive an express checkout bill and when I stopped by the desk they asked if I really needed one. I assume the computer system was down. Nothing that would really upset me but when they are all put together it kind of adds up. I guess I just expected more from Holiday Inn. The HIExpress in Van Wert OH seems to be a step up from the one in Lima. August 7, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Reunion My class of 1964 of Indian Lake High School held our 50th reunion at this hotel. Michelle was very easy to work with and she and all the staff "exceeded our greatest expectations". The room was even decorated in our school colors of black and white. We felt the price was very reasonable. The rooms are decorated very well and the bed was great. We plan to have our 55th reunion at this hotel.Michelle and everyone associated with our reunion gets a "Big Thank you". August 5, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by No restaurant service on Sunday night Stayed here on a Sunday night fully expecting, after driving all day, to be able to eat in the hotel restaurant listed on their website. Upon arrival, we were told the restaurant would open at 5pm. Went down at 5:15pm to be told the manager had decided not to open the restaurant on Sundays. The desk clerk hadn't received the notice, apparently. Our dining choices were walk to a fast food joint nearby or drive to a restaurant. For the price we paid for the night, we expected restaurant service during our stay. Rooms were good - stayed on side away from interstate. July 17, 2014
