Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Updating inside rooms I found the shower head awkward to adjust and the detailing of the Taps, floor and shower tiles very scummy in their cleanliness. I know I have travelled a lot in my life time and the Quality in the appearance of the bathroom in particular was needing some serious upgrading especially when the sink won't drain in TWO minutes. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Location This hotel is just one block off Bourbon St. a half a block from Arnuad's Restaurant ( very spendy but worth it). Get a room with a balcony - exceedingly nice to enjoy. Walking is not a problem from this hotel. The staff is not in your way. There is always someone at the entrance, so you feel safe. Sure, the place could use new furniture and carpet and it is expensive but it's location, location, location. March 21, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed I have never complained about any IHG property in the 8 years that I have used IHG as my preferred hotel. I stay an average of 9 days per month on an IHG property. The front desk, concierge and valet staff are very nice and welcoming. However, I have 3 main complaints regarding this property. 1) Breakfast door hangers - Provided in room. I filled out and couldn't understand why I did not receive my breakfast. Called downstairs and turns out they discontinued the service a while back. However, house-keeping is still offering the hangers in the rooms ? 2) Business Center - There is a printer and computer on a shelf in the lobby. I am a Platinum Member and had to swipe a credit card to use and to print. The BW printer was out of toner and the copies were unreadable. I had a business meeting in the morning and was relying on IHG business center equipment. 3) Restrooms in Lobby - These are locked with no access when the restaurant closes ? This is what I was told by the front desk staff and that they do not have a key. Very disappointed in this property and will not return. March 19, 2015
