Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by convenient We choose this hotel hoping that it would live up to the Holiday Inn reputation, however it did not. The room presented shabbily and the walls needed painting as had marks and scuffs on them. The bathroom was worse with discoloured and mouldy grout all around the bath/shower area , it presented as dirty. The extractor fan did not work and could not be repaired as it was a " weekend". I would not stay here again November 20, 2015

Complained to the front desk and they had a good attitude and treated us as expected, as platinum member. The hotel needs updating, for a executive room was poor. November 19, 2015

The staff were extremely courteous, efficient and professional, both in the main hotel and leisure complex. My room was clean and comfortable, if a rather long way from reception. My only complaint would be with the food that was too salty. November 18, 2015

Advise you ask not to be placed on road-side room as these are very noisy. Swimming pool is clean and well kept. November 16, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not the best example of a Holiday Inn Arrival staff are not fast and often other staff, will ignore a queue and will not assist. Room was tired, mirror in bedroom was old/dirty and the lighting is so poor it is difficult to see and doing anything in the way of make-up, etc. At the bar on the first night, had to go to staff standing less than 2m away, to ask them to come and assist their colleague behind the bar, as the queue was lengthy. Breakfast was poor, lacking in muesli, plain yoghurt, croissants were dry, and the red fruits were fermenting. Internet access is via a voucher system, supposedly high-speed. It is not fast and it is a cumbersome way to access the internet. Had the same issues here a year previously whilst on business and was told then, that they would be rectified. This is not what we expect from or pay for at a Holiday Inn. November 9, 2015
