THe hotel was full and busy, Staff claimed they did not have access to supply lockers - even before 5 pm, the fellow at the desk never took off his headphones - did not pick up the desk phone, was absent from the counter for more than 20 minutes routinely. The bathroom smells like mold - peeling wall parer has black mold on the wall side. Other guests used duct tape to pin up peeling wallpaper on the second floor. I used tape to try to hold up the sun screen on the window-- the powered shade was broken and fell completely out of the window the second day. Ground lighting is aimed at the windows at night. Maids used musty towels to clean counters and basins,, same cleaning towel for every room - I asked - they use the same one each day -- change out after a few days,, so about 30 rooms with one cleaning rag- it was disgusting - I have stayed in hotel rooms more than 100 nights this year - this one was a no show for basic services

Stayed here for one night after visiting Homestead National Monument. The bed and room were of the usual high quality I expect from Holiday Inn Express. The breakfast was varied and even included turkey sausage which I appreciated. Fitness room was small but adequate. I did not use the pool, but it looked nice. They did promote late night pancakes, but the machine did not appear to be working and I could not get a staff member to help. They only had one person on the desk.

Large sized room. Bathroom a bit small. Beds were very comfortable. AC worked great. Breakfast was more than ample, and tasted great. Office small but had everything we needed.
