Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Comfortable and Friendly Service The rooms are outstanding, very comfortable beds and pillow. A little warm in the rooms. Outstanding guest services. The breakfast is the same five days a week, frozen omelets and limp sausages. Need to change this up some to offer a better variety to long term guest. I would highly recommend anyone traveling through or staying in Beatrice to stay here. The service is very friendly and exceeded my expectations. A lot of construction occurring during my stay, but yet very relaxing. I will be returning next week for the week, and again on a weekly basis. September 6, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice This hotel was undergoing renovation during my stay, but the room was very clean. There was some dust from drywall work in the hallways and stairwells. The toilets could definitely use pressure-flush assistance. I stayed on the top floor on a warm evening and the air conditioner had difficulty keeping up, although its mediocre performance did not prevent me from sleeping. I did appreciate that the AC had a constant fan setting. I would have preferred bacon instead of sausage for breakfast. (McCook HI Express serves bacon.) Since I departed early, the breakfast startup at 0500CST was appreciated. Mine was a pleasant stay in a quiet town over Labor Day weekend. September 3, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by A rare disappointment with HI brand The Holiday Inn Express in Beatrice, NE was my first ever disappointment with the HI brand. I stayed for 5 nights and would have only stayed one if there were other options in the city. There are signs posted that they are under construction, but for the 6 days I was there, (training in their conference center all day long) there was not 1 worker present. The carpets in the hallway were stain filled and not swept during the week. I know this because of the dirt piles that remained all week. The bathroom in the conference center had dead roaches in it all week. On Friday when I told the front desk that the number had grown from only a few to over a dozen, the man at the desk said "I will make a note of it." When I left 4 hours later, the roaches were still there. At least they were dead though! I only saw 1 that was alive. The breakfast area was swept and mopped routinely and looked clean. However, the selection of food was smaller than I have ever experienced in a HI Express. My advice would be to drive to Lincoln to stay. I won't go back to this hotel. :-( August 18, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wedding Guests We were part of a block of rooms for a wedding. Even though renovations were taking place during our stay, the workers were friendly. I am looking forward to a return visit once the renovations are complete. The hotel stay was a great experience. Can't wait to return during football season. Go Big Red! July 29, 2014
