Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Appropriate response to issues should be reviewed I travel enough that I have a routine. After my stay here i'm adding "unplug the phone" to my routine. I fully expect that things may come up that aren't covered in IHG new employee training, but maybe something needs to be added to the handbook for how to respond to things at certain times of the day. In town for business, I stayed at this location. Not the first time i've been here. I don't sleep very well in general so when, on Friday morning at 2:15AM my room phone rang, I expected that the building was burning down. However, it was the front desk calling to ask what color my rental car was because someone with a similar car left their lights on. I appreciate them being concerned, but, it's 2 am. At 2 am, the appropriate response is to not call. I think most people would agree they'd rather wake up well rested to a dead battery than be awakened at 2 am and be completely exhausted and downright salty for the entire day, and flight, home. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ggreat place South bound I-77 This hotel is located far enough south of Charlotte, SC that if your on your way south you can continue in the morning without the Charlotte inbound traffic. This is a very nice property. With a great staff. The pool area was indoors and very well kept. However, there is no hot tub and the water temperature was on the cool side. We stayed at this hotel on our way north and it was so nice we returned on our way home. It is on our "must stay" list for our I-77 travels. June 20, 2016
