Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Nice Hotel When our air conditioner went out and our home rose to 85 degrees, even with the windows open, we had little choice but to get our baby and our toddler out of the house and somewhere cool until we could get the AC fixed. Luckily we had this Holiday Inn in the area. * We didn't check into the hotel until close to midnight as we had been considering other fixes like buying a portable AC unit and had hoped, in vain, that the night would bring cooler temperatures. The employee at the front desk was empathetic to the reason for our stay and genuinely nice. She got us set up with a crib for our baby and provided an extra blanket. She tried to find us a room on the ground floor and when one wasn't available she got us a quiet room, not too far from the elevators that did not have a connecting doorway. * I was pleasantly surprised at the look and layout of the room. The bathroom area was very large and open and plenty bright. The large window at the end of the room was well-shaded by the blinds. * We were in a room with a king size bed. The mattress was pretty comfortable overall and the pillows were very nice. The springs were a bit noisy and made an unpleasant sound when getting in or out of bed, but luckily they did not wake our baby. The portable crib provided was very nice and a far cry better than the Pack N' Play that Disney provides at there resorts. It was very sturdy with a good mattress. * Plenty of channels on the TV though we got in too late to really take advantage of them. Sound on the TV was a little weak but it had a good-sized screen and was easy to view from the bed. * We had a good night's sleep, overall, minus the air conditioner worries and the baby waking up a few times (unrelated to any issue with the room). When we left the next morning, the new employee at the front desk was equally nice and even made sure that we had been able to get a hold of someone to fix the AC. * We unfortunately did not get to take advantage of the included breakfast but from what I have heard from others the hot breakfast and the dining area are both very nice. * Our entire experience was great overall. I only wish we had made the decision to stay there earlier in the night so that we could have gotten into the cool air sooner to relax and watch some TV with the kids. I'd say maybe next time, but hopefully our AC is good for a while now! We would definitely consider staying at another Holiday Inn Express when we travel and would highly recommend this location to anyone that has a need to stay in the area. May 13, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly Staff We were welcomed/greeted by a friendly front desk person. She noticed my husband was using a cane so she placed us in a room on the main level. After we got settled and went out to eat, we came back and one of the other staff had made homemade chili for the guests. Wish we'd have known about this service ahead of time. If staying at this hotel you might want to ask first if there will be a bite to eat. The breakfast room was beautiful and spacious but the food was barely adequate. If traveling with a family you will want to double check to see if there is a swimming pool on site. We did not notice one which didn't matter to us but if you have children with you that might make a difference. May 10, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great experience! I certainly wish every hotel stay was as pleasant as this one. The staff went above and beyond by changing our room to one that was closer to an elevator and vending/ice machines. That was a special touch and the front desk staff member said she did that because she noticed I was limping. I do have a bad ankle, and so appreciate her noticing and adding that special touch. I have not stayed anywhere else where that observation was made or where rooms were changed to be closer to the elevator. Wow! April 29, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Tired Hotel This hotel is sadly fading away into poor condition. I have stayed here many times as the location is convenient. In the past, I found it annoying that a very complex code was necessary for wifi access. It was exciting to find this has been eliminated, but only until I realized internet access and speed was among the worst I've seen in any hotel. This hotel needs refurbishment to be worth the rate being charged. April 26, 2015
