Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Rooms were not up to quality My husband and I stayed at this hotel because we are a fan of this chain. However, I will not stay there again. The hotel is old, our bed was so used that the mattress was lumpy and there was a bend in the middle of the bed. The ceiling had water spots. The room "looked" to be clean, however, I did not feel clean in it. It smelled musty and I could not even be comfortable taking off my shoes. I travel several times a year, and have expectations of this chain. Consistency is what I come to expect of this brand. This hotel blew it all away. If it was not for the fact that it was late, and I was tired, I would have left. If I had my children with me, we would have. Decor was very old. I can say two nice things about this hotel, the employee that we met was nice, and the shower and water pressure was good. June 3, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great vstay whilke traveling We chose this HIE based on location. The check-in lady was wonderful. The room surpassed our expectations. The women working the breakfast buffet were the hardest working people in food service. Constant attention to good provisions.We we=re a little disappointed the pool was closed but it was because it was being updated to accomodate the handicap which is admirable. May 23, 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Dirty and poor customer service When I arrived to check in, no one was at the desk. I waited a full 15 minutes for someone to show up at the desk before I could chek in. Two other times I returned to the motel and the front desk was not attended. The airconditioning system was loud and outdated. You could not select a digital temperature, you could just turn a dial and it ran constantly and either froze you or roasted you. The pool was unbelievable nasty. Dark green muck with gunk floating in it. I travel for my job and do close to 200 nights a year in motels. Usually breakfast starts at 6 AM. Breakfast did not open until 6:30 which is too late for many business travelers. I usually stay at a competitors property, but in Corbin the competitor's internet is so slow it is not usable so I stayed at the Holiday Inn. However, I will not be back. May 14, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Clean, good location. Good and clean like many Holiday Inns. Fitness room has had one treadmill out of order for at least two weekds and bike poorly maintained. "High Speed Internet" is only 0.7 Mbps, not good enough for work, and WiFi connectivity is spotty. May 9, 2013
