I stayed at the Corvallis facility recently. We have stayed there quite a few times before since we have a student at Oregon State. At 1am the occupant of the room above us decided to use the in-room jacuzzi. it was so loud that my daughter and I had to raise our voices just to hear one another. We should have called the front desk but decided to try and get to sleep which we eventually did.'
When i brought up the matter with the front desk at checkout, the matter was dismissed with "there is nothing we can do about it". it would have been nice to have been offered a partial credit or some other type of offset but I had expected at least an apology for the inconvenience. No such luck.
As a frequent user of Holiday Inn facilities I expected more.

UTJ42 Best Pet-Stay in Corvallis
The OSU Veterinary Teaching facility is used by many out-of-towners. Holiday Inn Express is the best in Corvallis that accepts pets and we certainly appreciate a nice place to stay during our pets' vet care time. I was there for 3 nights...very comfortable. The pet walking area is kept very clean and pretty, thanks to a good grounds-keeper and other conscientious dog owners. The stroll by the river is very pleasant.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by randman Nice place, dumb front desk
The hotel is fine, location is great, the rooms good and I have nothing to complain about there. My issue was the front desk person that evening was less than helpful. We were reserved for a river side room, checked in around 7 pm, and were given a room next to the road. When I went back down to the desk to ask about our wrong room, he was dismissive and completely unhelpful and did nothing to change our room. The next morning the new front desk person was very apologetic and helpful. I wanted to talk with the manager, but he didn't show up until well after 10 a.m. and we had to leave. I left my phone number which he never used, and I had to email him twice to get a response. The first time he just sent me a generic apologetic email and didn't address any of the issues I asked about and the second time he asked me to call, but when I do, he's not there. I expected more from the front desk and the manager. I won't be going back to Corvallis Holiday Inn Express again

Comfortable property right on the river. Recently renovated rooms were done nicely. Complimentary breakfast and cookies were a plus. Would stay here again if in Corvallis.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by KrisM We'll be back!
My daughter and I traveled to Corvalis recently to attend Spring Preview at Oregon State University. We only spent one night, but since my daughter has decided to attend Oregon State University in the fall, I know I will be spending many more. We were greeted warmly, given a map and restaurant recommendations, and even received a follow up call in the room.
Am looking forward to many more nights here; on moving in day, Mom's weekend, and whenever I decide that I need a trip to Corvalis. Thank you!!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by FrequentFlyerMatt Stayed on the river side, pb&j in the evening
Stayed here on my way from San Fran to Portland. Had to do some work in the area and this seemed like a good place to stay. We were upgraded to a suite for being a platinum member, which was a nice perk.
I like that I could park under the hotel and take the elevator directly up to the room. The "R" buttons in the elevator were confusing. I though that they meant the river side because there was a door that opened on each side. Turned out it was for the cleaning service.
I came back from doing some work and grabbed a complimentary pb&j in the breakfast area. This made for a nice snack and is something I haven't seen at other HIEs. It would have been nice to have a grape jelly option, but I can't complain about free food.
The breakfast selection was above average and I took advantage of the recycling bin in the dining area to dispose of the newspapers that I had been accumulating in my luggage.
I like the college town feel of the area. The hotel was easy to find and there were lots of options for food closeby.
