Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by clean room, excellent breakfast, snacks before bed! We found the beds extremely hard. Firm is okay but the mattress was starkly hard. A mattress pad would have been very nice. Everyone always loves a plush towel. Ours seemed very thin. Too thin for the excellency of the rest of the hotel amenities. August 24, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bad stay in June We are regulars at this property. In June we brought friends with us and the service was below standard. When we checked in our room was not ready. Luckily our friends room was ready. When we were able to check in our room had a bad odor coming from the AC unit (smelled like gas). I called downstairs and the front desk sent someone up to check out the smell. They all agreed the odor was strong. The hotel was booked so all they could offer was to spray air freshener and recommend we sleep with the bathroom fan on and the window open. We obviously had no choice. It was obvious the smell was the air conditioner which is why they told us to shut it off. The next morning when we checked out I spoke to the manager who told me there was nothing her could do because I was using my reward nights? I used the cash & points and how did that remedy the night I had with the terrible odor. We stay in Corvallis at least 3-4 times a year and we have reservations to return on 8/26-8/29 and I am concerned that the quality has gone downhill. This has bothered me for sometime because I feel the management should have handle this differently. The odor was extremely strong from the AC unit and it was very difficult to sleep that night. You can see from our previous reviews and our history that we are regulars and we have always had great things to say but this one incident has really caused me doubt. Will this be an issue for our upcoming sty or should I book at another hotel? August 17, 2015
